During a Republican event called West Virginia GOP Day, an 'anti-Muslim' meme depicting the 9/11 attacks and a photo of congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) triggered an entire panel of Democratic lawmakers. Shouting matches ensued and one Democrat kicked in a door, injuring an employee of the state house.

    -----------
It was not immediately clear who put up the poster, but lawmakers got into a heated dispute over the display. The argument even became physical, leaving a doorkeeper allegedly injured and a lawmaker resigning.
    -----------
Democratic lawmaker Mike Caputo allegedly injured a doorkeeper during a heated argument, WSAZ reported.
    -----------
Caputo admitted to kicking the door because he wanted to get into the chamber and he said he was being blocked. "We have created an anger that I have never witnessed in 23 years in this body and it sickens me. It absolutely sickens me. So yeah, I kicked the door open I'll own it," Caputo said. The doorkeeper was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
    -----------
Sgt. at Arms Anne Lieberman resigned Friday afternoon after being accused of an anti-Muslim slur.

This was the meme that started the ruckus:

Army captain leading marines to hire mercenaries.

I'm just making the point that they have been a thorn in our side for a couple centuries. At least Jefferson responded to the extortion. Washington and Adams failed to do that, albeit the fault probably lies with congress and not so much on them.

In our country currently, drawing a straight line between freedom of religion and religious rhetoric that's incongruent with our "republic" seems to be difficult for everyone. Admittedly, I don't especially wonder why so in this case.

If we had real separation of church and state this wouldn't be an issue. One of many laws modern politicians disregard from the Constitution.

Ilhan Abdullahi Omar, 3 years ago i never heard of her, don't know how she gained this sudden raise of power and fame. nepotism/God-fatherism has brought her to the point where she is now. no hard work or any sort of intelligence. because if she is intelligent she should know the country has certain values that we can never let go.

When the truth infuriates a large group of people it is time to get ready for the fight that is coming. That poster was ABSOLUTELY correct because that woman is an anti-Semitic cunt. Just a week or so ago she had to retract a public statement and it was reported that after being elected she hoisted a foreign flag in celebration. Fuck her, fuck her religion and fuck every single person that voted for her.

    Lawsuit for what?

The doorkeeper who was injured, as a result of Caputo kicking the door in. Now if Caputo was already not allowed into the chamber because he was being an asshat, tries to forcibly enter and then inflicts an injury on the employee of the building, he can be charged with assault too.

Apparently, Ilhan Omar's fellow Democrats are also wary of some......questionable......things she had said in the past and got a bone to pick with her.

    Source:

    ----------
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) is facing new accusations of making anti-Semitic remarks, this time rebuked by a senior member of her party who says the House freshman’s words conjured a “vile anti-Semitic slur.”
    ----------
Engel’s call for Omar to apologize follows two other incidents from earlier this year.
    ----------

Omar’s Jan. 22 apology came after a 2012 tweet recirculated, in which she said, “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel."

(Did she just imply that we should all convert to Islam?)
    ----------
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and bipartisan leadership issued a joint statement insisting on an apology for her “use of anti-Semitic tropes and prejudicial accusations about Israel’s supporters.”
    ----------

I think she should just be truthful and make a tweet about how Allah and the Muslims feel about the trans / LGBTQX community.

I got popcorn and beer on standby...

I doubt if she lasts the remainder of her term. She is too much of a true believer to be a politician. Her true beliefs will continue to slip out and make her a pariah.
The anti semitism is just the most fervent hate.
There are plenty others on her list.
Whether her team likes it or not people much more powerful than them put her there.

Freedom of religion doesnt apply to Muslims. They are all bad.

First amendment rights are constantly violated. When the senate judiciary cmt. questions judicial nominees religious beliefs and openly state that a nominees said beliefs should disqualify them, the slope has begun. Muslims are treated with kid gloves and Christians and Jews are mocked. Religious monuments are under constant attack from lawsuits and vandals. Things have gotten to the point that if you mention God in front of some people they think you have violated their rights.

It is that simple. Every other religion and atheism doesn't go around with a pedophile prophet and preaching to kill the infidel.

The are like the Borg or Reavers. Or termites

Well, I'll enunciate my disdain, specifically regarding their proclivity for sharia law and a 19-sided caliphate. I don't give a fuck what they get up to as long as they respect the constitution and our borders are genuinely secure. That isn't currently the state of the matter in reality, imo.

I'm not going to start waving the pedo and holy war sticks around with this topic piecemeal. Those things are not protected under the first amendment anyway. It's not a ticket to do whatever the fuck you want, it's a ticket to say whatever you want about your god and have a church or place of worship. You can't cherrypick The Constitution because it doesn't always make it easy for us to isolate certain problems, you really don't want to start down that road.

Christianity was a pretty dark and violent religion according to the Old Testament and of course the Christian crusades. And as far as pedophiles goes, keep in mind that Mary was only 12 when she was knocked up by a middle aged Joseph.

In case I haven't already mentioned it here, I'll mention it again. The problem I see with Islam in general is that it's a religion that hasn't matured yet. Islam is roughly 600 years younger than Christianity. 600 years ago Christianity was a pretty fucked up religion until it matured over time and became what it is today. I know it's easy to sit here and say to just nuke all Muslim countries because we are always so quick to try and find a quick solution to EVERY problem that is brought to the table. Obviously, we all are gonna be long gone in 600 years, but I do believe that Islam will have changed over those years. Hell, I'm seeing it in my own personal life. I got Muslim friends who hardly ever pray and they eat pork and never fast during Ramadan.

As far as that anti-Muslim poster goes? Well, you all know how open and honest I have been about my political views, so I think it goes without saying that anything that makes Leftist SJWs cry and melt away is okay in my book. ?

No one's saying they can't be muslim. In theory, being dead should bring them closer to islam.

Mike Caputo, the door kicker says:

"We have created an anger that I have never witnessed in 23 years in this body and it sickens me. It absolutely sickens me."

I think a prolonged period of time engaging in a repetitive, soothing, and meditative activity, like making and stamping license plates, will do much to cool down this fella's anger issues...
