Been wanting a pair of binos with a mil ranging reticle for some time. Around $600 price range. I have been looking at the 10x50 Vortex Ranger R/T. I stumbled across the SWFA combo today though. A 12x32 pair of binoculars with a mil scale in the left eye and a 12x42 fixed scope with a mil reticle. At $500 the price seems right. I've heard good things about SWFA for Budget scopes but I don't know anything about their binoculars. Anyone have any experience?

I’m in the same boat but didn’t pull the trigger since I already have the 12x scope.
Hope one someone on here has used the Binos before. Plus this question might be best in the Observation Devices.

Yeah, after I posted I remembered there was a section for observation sperate from gear. Still kinda new here. Maybe a moderator can move it for me?

The mods are good about leaving post alone and not touching. If a post disappeared the user did something to get booted which is hard to do.

Back to the subject, please update if you decide to purchase. The scope is worth it. Used it on my match rifle for two years before upgrade. It’s now my back up. Highly recommend it for a entry level scope.

I have the binos I got with a Vortex scope package. They are excellent quality. The glass is clear and crisp. The only complaint I have is the Mil reticle is on an angle when I have them set to use both eyes.

That’s a good point. Never thought about the reticle issue when adjusting them to fit your eyes.
