Moved to Birmingham area about a year ago. Looking for nice range that goes past 100 yards. Just getting settled in and reloading room completed. Ready to do some recreational shooting.

Brooks Gap in Hoover is the only one that I'm aware of. I'm a member there. It's a nice facility that goes out to 500yds (or 700+ if shooting with a range officer).

Maple Ridge Gun Club in Cullman has KD at 100. 200, 300, and 500 yds.
Edit: They also offer day-use, 15$ if I remember correctly, unlike Brooks Gap.

I have a couple places to shoot up to a thousand yds one to around 1300. Just need to get some steel targets set up. You can let me know if some of guys want to get together and shoot. These are on my personal hunting leases.
I have a new build that should be finished by end of summer. What part of the state are we talkin?

About three months ago. It’s a single target hanging in a tree with no back stop.
I'm going to stop by Barbour Creek in Eufala on my way up for an Auburn game this fall.....that place looks like Augusta National. Air conditioned shooting house what the crap??!!

Pleasant Hill Rifle Range hosts a couple events monthly. They host a .5 MOA challenge the first Saturday of every month that has a pretty good turn out. This is known distance bench shooting out to 500 yds. https://www.facebook.com/pleasanthillriflerange/
