of war with Iran and abortion can get depressing. Thought Id drop something that I always find uplifting.

This one always lifts me. It starts from the bottom of the rung than builds up to greatness.
The whole theme is striving to be better.
It starts out alone and by the end all are working together in a common goal...
E Pluribus Unum
One of my favs......
Might as well hear the man himself.
"Needs more bone"
Not exactly uplifting but another from the same time period youll probably remember:
I don't have issues separating entertainment from activism, or Ac-Tors from their beliefs, for if I did there would not be entertainment of any kind at all. Some people throw out the baby with the wash, an if that suites them fine. I see things different for if I did not I could make a case against most all of the right wing, Ac-Tors, w/o breaking a sweat. Running through the jungle fit a time slot for me an many, many more as did many songs from those days. Some like Bad moon rising had the words changed to V/N to a tee, an I'm guessing there are a few on this board who don't post much, that could pound it out, if ask nicely.

Neat version of an older one
I dont know @Erno86......
I thought the reason for the original post was to take our minds off of the "conflicts" in our world, a few moments of escape, but like a good leftist you are invested in promoting the division...
It kind of went south a while back but thats ok.
My only real complaint is his uploading so many videos really slows the download.
I do love Apocalypse Now.

Alright, now you went and dun it;
(too bad about the background noise clicks......)
(Amazing stagecraft, if you stop and really watch what is happening......)
Some power classics.........
Ha, ha......when I was in college, I worked as a stagehand. We did the annual Seattle Opera Wagner "Ring Festival" in August of every summer. I worked in the props department and my primary job (+ many secondary jobs) was to keep the alcohol lamps on the sets stoked before each new scene. Couldn't tell you which scene it was, but I had just refilled the lamps with a combination of alcohol and granulated sugar (made the lamps burn yellow and longer). Welp, I accidentally overfilled one of them and the alcohol was running down the front of the (fiberglass) set. It was a potential fire hazard and the curtain was going up in about 6 seconds. I took a diving swipe at the flame plume going down the fiberglass set piece, managing to put it out as I dove behind the set-piece as the curtain rose. I couldn't tell you which character it was, but the absolutely, cutest girl in the production was standing right above me on the set, my view being right up her skirt. I spent about 20 minutes, on my back, looking up her skirt, from behind the onstage set-piece, doing nothing other than enjoying the view. She knew exactly what was going on, seemed to be enjoying it, but unfortunately, we never connected afterwards.......Oh well.

Man. Tough gig. Some guys are just lucky.Anyway.....as part of the Props crew, it was my job to stand in number 2 offstage left wing, holding her terrycloth robe as she came running offstage, topless. I will remember her beautiful, bouncing boobies running toward me until the day I die. She'd come running offstage and literally dive into the robe I was holding. Gawd, talk about someone that wanted to take it to the next level.......But, She really was a classy woman and I didn't want to do anything that would upset that balance. I think, at that time, she was probably twice my age (22 vs 40-44). Not that that would have mattered to even young, dumb me.....
