Kifaru Universal Gun Bearer

I have one attached to the belt of a Kifaru pack....Before that it was on an Eberlestock pack belt, simply wrapped around the belt body-It didn't have any Molle.
Does your Molle II have a waist strap?
If not, it'll probably end up sitting too high to be comfortable.
I'd suggest that you call the great people at Kifaru and ask them what you're wanting to do.

I can only say that you should make sure it is comfortably adjusted before you head out. Mine was great for the first 1/2 of my last hunt. Hands free. Rifle at the ready. What's to complain about? At some point the constant rubbing/banging of the butt stock on my hip bone became pretty painful. Strapping the gun to the side of the pack eliminated the problem, but the gun bearer was no longer in use.

Did you adjust the height/length of strap on the bottom point of attachment? It takes a little testing out but I have never had a issue once I adjusted those two things.

I was using it on a Kuiu bag, so maybe not a 100% fair assessment, but it was comfortable for the first 1/2 of the trip. I did adjust it for what I thought would be the most comfortable carry. I didn't notice the gun stock on my hip. Maybe I was jacked to be off work for a week and in the wilderness. It is possible that I got lazy/tired at some point and allowed the gun to slip into a position that caused the issue. At the time I was just glad that moving the gun allowed me to get down the mountain and back to camp. Not knocking the product, just sharing a caution built on my (limited) experience.

Been hunting with one of these for years. Many miles trekked with a rifle in one out west. Would never pack a hunting rifle without one.
Does take a bit to get them adjusted to fit your rifle and body. However, mine are older model that were velcro wrap around the main waist strap. This post has got me looking at the newer version to connect to Molle.
