Hello folks, I’m a long time shooter that’s new to precision rifles. My shooting background is pretty diverse-everything from NRA small bore and 10 meter air rifle to shotgun clay shooting, ARs, and handguns. I recently got bit by the bug and am looking forward to expanding my long range skills. My current rig is a Bergara B-14 HMR in 6.5 Creedmoor with a Vortex PST Viper Gen II 5-25 and AAC 762-SD. I’m going to try my hand at a match next month, and I’m looking forward to the challenge. Thanks for having me!

Why wait?! Come on out this weekend! We’d love to have any new shooters. I shoot there regularly. I’m live in Garland and shoot there or at the Triple C matches.
I can’t this weekend, but I’m going to make every effort to make the October match. I’m in Rowlett. I’ve shot at Triple C once but it’s quite the haul out to Cresson.

Well very cool! I actually manage the Baylor physical therapy clinic in Rowlett. Look forward to shooting with ya
Small world! I don’t know if you have a squad you normally shoot with, but if you have room I’d like to join yours. Obviously being my first match, I’m not sure how they’re run or if that’s even possible.

Absolutely! You’re more than welcome. We’re all pretty relaxed and squad that morning. We can just hop in the same squad.

Just something I noticed, do you find that the bubble level where you have it ever gets in your way of making turret adjustments? When bubble levels first came out I had one mounted that way and it used to irritate me to no end when I was trying to make adjustments in a hurry, so I now have them mounted in front of the turret.

It hasn’t bothered me so far but I’ve only shot one match.
