Rifle Scopes Anyone know who makes this scope for Cabelas/Bass pro shop?

I just won this scope on an ebay auction for $220. Bass pro shop description says "Engineered, machined, and assembled in the USA ". I really want to know if it's being made by Meopta for Bass pro shop or maybe Vortex or some poor schmuck in a US sweat shop? The scope is a Oculus Phaze 6-24x50 FFP reticle ED glass 1/4 MOA turrets

Other than Meopta, are there other US-based OEM assembly operations?

I tried the covanent series out, every model and they all were horrible past 17x. Returned all of them and they said they could not tell me who manufactures them
I know this one you got is different, looks like thy used a complete new manufacture

Thanks, the Oculus pro and Oculus SPA scopes are made in China. The Oculus Phaze is the one assembled here in the US.

They couldn't tell me either. Wonder what the big mistery is? I know they worked with Vortex, Kenko Tokina and Meopta USA in the past

Meopta, Leica, US optics, Vortex, Leupold/Redfield all have assembly operations for some or all of their scopes here in the US. Schott also has a state of the art optical coating facility here in the US
