Thinking about Moving to the Geissele National Match

Yup. AR15 match triggers are faster than a Smith & Wesson 29, but the analogy is extremely valid.

There are a fair percentage of boltgunners that “just can’t shoot” their AR rifles well...

...and/or assume that the rifles are the problem. They are “just a gas gun” anyway, right?

...right..?

I am a Geissele NM user in my one precision AR. I run mine on the lightest setting and find it to be a fantastic trigger. Excellent take up, excellent break. I do keep it very clean and lubricated though so that may make a difference.

Sold off enough gear recently to pay for the National Match. I'll hold tight until Black Friday. Also have enough to pick up a spare complete full auto BCG for my LMT MWS. I've got a spare enhanced LMT BCG for my 5.56. I'm set.

I'm hoping the BF sale is 25% off. just a question of whether it's gonna be 20% off, or 25% off. 30%? I've got a shopping list...

I have one on a .308 AR. For a precision AR, especially larger caliber, it's easily one of the better triggers. I tried a number of different triggers before I stuck with the Geissele NM. My big problem on the larger caliber AR was reliability and the Geissele has proven to be bombproof, while still offering a light, crisp and clean trigger release.

I have 2 National Match "match" triggers and a number of other giessle triggers. 2 super dynamic, 1 super dynamic enhanced, and a standard SSA. I love the national match triggers but for me at the lightest 2nd stage settings it is just to light for me. I would almost rather set it up as a single stage. I do love how you can set it up just right, for how you want it to feel. Alot of adjustment. Wish they offered the national match with a flat trigger bow. Don't know why but I love the feel of the flat bow.
