It looks like the RRS BTC-Pro can do Arca and Picatinny, and it's $10 cheaper than the Area 419 Clamp. Is there any reason why I'd go the Area 419 over the RRS?

I guess if I want to double the Arca clamp as a barricade stop then Area 419 would be the only way to do it since I'm not sure what kind of barricade stop attachment I'd use for the RRS

    Thanks in advance.

I have the Area419 clamp with the barricade stop added on my Magpul bipod that I use with an ACC. If you don't have an Arcalock rail you just remove the pins in the clamp.
Mine works pretty well and have used it on various barricades. I haven't really found it to come loose but I make sure it is snugged up reasonably well before each stage.
Being able to slide your bipod is a big help especially if shooting off barrels or tyres etc. I have used a RRS clamp on a tripod and that was pretty secure also.

I was disappointed in the area419 It doesn’t lock really good on a normal arca rail without really wrenching down on it
I haven't tried the 419 but I can assure anyone out there that the RRS clamp locks up jailhouse tight with very little effort put into twisting the knob. Of course, my arca rail is made by RRS too.

As above the BTC works on ARCA or picatinny but no barricade stop. The 419 clamp can integrate the barricade stop but only works on ARCA. Both lock up tight. I have the 419 system on my Atlas and use it with an ACC chassis. The RRS is on a Harris that can go on any of the ARCA rails and also the MSRs. Happy so far.

I have two 419 clamps, one for each Atlas bipods. They do have a less than refined feel to them. However, they do grab and hold to both 419 and non-419 arca rails. I have applied dry graphite to the working components of the clamps and the feel has been greatly improved.. However, again, they function perfectly fine with or without the graphite.
