Hi,

I'm looking into PWS MK218, but not finding much info on them. I don't want to make the same mistake as POF P308. If you have experience on them, please share your thoughts.

Thank you

I have two buddy’s with PWS218’s in 6.5CM.
One had minor gas issues at first but PWS quickly made it right.
The other one was perfect from the start.

I’ve shot it a lot and even at a mile it did decent.
I’d certainly consider one if I wanted a AR10.

PWS at a 1791 yards.

man, that gun did everything that I could have asked for in that type of package.

The next and the rest of the gas guns I buy will always be PWS, or JP.

Awesome to hear. I picked up an LWRC upper and was pointed to check out PWS as well in my search for that upper.

Gonna give them a shout and see what they have to say as I’m gonna grab a few more uppers. It looks like they do somewhat of a break for LE/MIL too which helps in the $$ aspect

I have a 2 of their rifles 223 Wylde and 7.62x39 and they have performed amazing. I do not have any personal experience with their large frame calibers. But, if you decide to pick one up. Hit up Mike at Fortress Tactical. They carry a bunch of PWS stuff and offer a LE discount.

I have their x39 and have beat the living daylights out of it ~ 5k rounds suppressed will eat any ammo I feed it. My buddy is a bit of a PWS nut to say the least he has the 6.5, a couple of x39's, 223. He had 300bo and 308, but has since sold them as we both went to x39 for everything. He loved the 308 and all of them have run awesome and recently sold the 308 to a friend down the road from us. We slowly figured out 7.62x39 is really all we need here in FL for deer, hogs and yotes....several pounds lighter and about 1/4th the cost of shooting 308 these are our steel plinkers too. Doing an all nighter of thermal duty almost all shots offhand standing in fields......4-5 lbs makes a dif for me in accuracy at 1am! He may chime in here at some point, but it was a bug hole gun the few times I shot it.

PWS nut, per 8pointer, checking in :). My PWS 6.5 is a rare bird in that it runs a 22" Bartlien barrel. Funny thing, my 15yr daughter shoots it more than i do. It's a tack driver. She literally shot 2 - 8 point bucks within 5 minutes of each other at over 225yds last year. Not bad for a 14yr old. To 8pointer's comment, the MK216 is a blast to run, even more so at $0.19 round. As for PWS, they are a great bunch of people and never had had an issue with shipping or customer service.
