Democrats are mostly communist now. The old democrat party is gone. Accept that and take appropriate action
Are they? How so? I don't really see anyone advocating for the state controlling the means of productions even the "socialist" aren't doing that. Higher taxes and expanded welfare benefits aren't really socialist. I am not saying I want those but they are not socialist by themselves without government taking over the economy. The democrats biggest issue over the last decade was gay and transgender rights. Now I have seen plenty of people say that makes them commies, but I don't think that is something communist ever supported historically. They might now since society has changed, but not in the past for sure.

Your missing the defining feature of communism which is no private property or property rights. State runs company's and forced cooperatives. I am not sure you understand how different it is from our system of government and economy, and how much people would resist it.

Totally agree; we can and should be doing much more than what we have been doing. But like most things, we are reactive instead of like proactive and are playing catch up....I try not to think about it too much, beyond what I personally can control influence....
For my part, I’ve donated to more legitimate pro 2A groups this year than in the past five years combined, written letters and emails to my state and fed level reps opposing everything from gun control to impeachment (fed only) and generally exercise my second amendment rights at least once per week (going shooting later today).
In the end, it may require an actual civil war to put this country back on track & rid ourselves of these fucking communists and other once and for all...
If nothing else, when those UN fucks show up with their box cars, I’ll be ready.

Part of how the commie plague spreads is through the weaponization of the government. It is self evident that people should be free to think and believe as they wish. I agree with the founders that the government should have no role in determining or influencing how people think and believe. The first amendment to the Bill of Rights ensures that the government will not do those things. The better play, IMO, is for We The People to inoculate ourselves against the idea of communism.

1.) Don't vote for commies.
2.) Don't hire commies.
3.) Don't rent to commies.

Once the commies take root in your community, they will use their own personal influence in any organization to increase their numbers, thus increasing their combined influence in that institution.
