Stick your regular old chamber flag into the mag well through the ejection port and gently let the bolt forward on it.
^^^This right here, except for no pistol flag.^^^I guess rules are different for different events but a EMPTY CHAMBER FLAG has a PURPOSE.
If you are lazy, use a pistol flag.

1.2 Safety SOP for the Conduct of a Match
The following rules apply to all participants of a PRS event. They do not apply to a shooter who is actively shooting a COF.
1.2.1 While conducting any movement with a firearm at a PRS, the participant will ensure all of their weapons are pointed in a safe direction at all times.
1.2.2 All participants will ensure all of their weapons are cleared with the magazine out at all times.
1.2.3 Chamber flags or other Empty Chamber Indicator (ECI) will be utilized at all times and must be fully inserted into the chamber (not just the breach).

It may indeed. I know that I have a few of those and use them often in non-PRS applications in my ARs. The point of my post was more to educate the OP on PRS requirements than to dispute your post (not my intention at all).I think the flag I showed will meet the requirements. Often sold as a pistol flag.
Is it legal for PRS?
In most AR chamberings it will also find stuck projectiles.
Which might catch your next failure.
