Penn-Ohio Precision Rifle Club (POPRC) holds matches at Southington Hunt Club in Garrettsville, OH and Rockland Precision in Kennerdell, PA. You can find the club/match info on their Facebook page.

They are part of the NE Regional series and should give you every opportunity to have some fun/get better as a shooter.

Are there any training offerings in this area for long range precision for a new shooter. Southington website says mid-late January 2020 and there are Saturday matches on their calendar but Im just getting up and running

Welcome to the Hide. There are a few places here in NE Ohio that offer training.
But to be honest I was new to the sport a bit back, though I needed training also.
I decided to try a league Shoot at Southington and was hooked.
You can learn a lot just being involved and watching/ talking to the shooters.
