Got lucky and snagged one of these a while back. I built it out but haven’t shot it. Still have the original box, booklet , and tags.
These SR16’s were issued to the Secret Service, test fired (100-125rds) and sent back to KAC where they were refurbished, stamped “commercial” and sold to the public. 230 units were released initially. Not sure how many more have been released since.
This one has a “007” marking on the underside of the barrel. According to Knights, several of the uppers were marked this way to prevent people from chopping an SR15 and calling it an SR16.
I added the sandcutter bolt carrier, MAMS brake and FDE URX3.1 panel kit.
I have an extra black panel kit and a 3 prong QDC I can include as well.
