Question for anyone with an MPA folder.

1. How do you like the folding feature.
2. If you have had it a decent amount of time is it still tight (no play)

I have a non-folding ba and I'm looking to convert it to a folder with the new kit they released. I originally chose non-folding the due to the simplicity (less moving parts). But now for ease of transportation and mostly ease of cleaning I am looking at the folding option.

I have one and after adjusting it it stays tight. I have to use it for my rifle to fit in my bag and gun safe. As mentioned above also makes cleaning a breeze

Had one of the originals, and it sucked ass. MPA warranted it though, and replaced it with their current design one. Much better, and never had a problem with it.

I’ve had one for a year and a half or so. Not a ton of use, but still very tight.

Had mine almost a year and love it , still tight now as it was brand new. Makes cleaning a breeze

Yeah, I'd call MPA, that's what mine did. I was polite and courteous with an inquiry of how to fix this issue, and instead they had me ship the chassis back for "warranty work". I paid shipping one way, but they covered the rest. New hinge was even cerracoated to match my existing burnt bronze finish.

Works great on my MPA 300WMBA ... super useful during bore cleaning (to get it out of the way). My issue is the action screws working loose ... not the folding mechanism.
