I think there is a vendor here (probably Doug) that has a good relationship with Bushnell and has helped others in the past in similar situations. I want to think that they either have a lot of work ahead of your scope and slowly they will get to it. Or, they've already opened it up and are may be waiting on a certain part that could possibly be taking long.

Normally, Bushnell is good on customer service and warranty work. Hopefully that vendor can chime in and help you out by may be getting an update for you!

Not excusing Bushnell in anyway. Just remember January through March is industry quarter. All companies are either prepping for, going to, or recovering from industry events. I’ve got a stack of, scopes, rings, rifles, and other accessories piling up from most all manufacturers. It’s like this every year. Hope this helps.

Ehhhh. A month or so ago I sent in a Minox ZP5 that was replaced and in my hands a week after I shipped it. I also sent in a Schmidt that had some repairs made to the mechanical parts of the elevation turret and was shipped back within a couple of weeks. I sent in a Triggertech for an issue with the safety lever and had a replacement in my hands in less than 10 days. All of this was not long after shot show...

Because every other scope manufacturer on the planet has never had a single hiccup during their existence.

I'm surfing optics forums constantly. I've heard tons of people talk about how quick & easy they got their Vortex stuff replaced, no questions asked (granted seems more people need that warranty than other brands....). Heard of the same from Leupold and Nightforce. This is literally the first time I've heard of anyone even needing Bushnell warranty work, which does say something positive (though I think the other brands get far more optics off the shelves), but out of the single Bushnell warranty experience I've now heard of it's a bad one. So, yeah, it's gonna stick. I actually run an XRS II on my PRS gun and like the scope. Part of the reason I bought it was due to the advertised quality and lack of people with posts like this. But be real: If you have a really bad warranty experience with a company, you gonna go back?? I'd guess not. For me, others experiences weigh in to my purchasing decisions as well.

I had my windage turret lock up on my Bushnell DMR II about 2 weeks before leaving for Mammoth in 2018. I called them up, sent it back same day via Priority, and I had a replacement (brand new, I think) in my hands within 8 calendar days. It's only a single data point, and old, but take it for what it's worth.

Good to know. Thanks.

Mine took two weeks, actually it took one week in which they didnt have an lrtsi on hand to send me right away so they sent an upgrade to the dmr2i, I didnt want that though so they had me a new lrtsi the week after. It was super easy and I was impressed they tried to upgrade me.

Please give me a call and I will reach out to Bushnell and I am sure we can get this cleared up for you. If you prefer please send the details to me at [email protected]
No worries, I'll get it right for you

And this is why my future optics purchases will be from Cameraland.
I've purchased a couple through them, but this is top notch customer service that is severely lacking in many industries.

Now if Doug could only find a LRTS that's been scratched up and then returned, I might be able to afford one. ??

Reticle in my vortex pst developed "debris" after about 10 years. Sent it in, brand new replacement in my hands in a week. Also, one of the nicest CS reps I have had the pleasure to talk with.

So far no issues with the ZCO.

Just received this e-mail from Bushnell in reference to this:

"Good Morning,

Just wanted to bring you up to speed

Kevins750’s scope was actually received and a replacement sent within a week. The problem is a result of the shipping process. The replacement was addressed to the return info he provided, but per the tracking info it was delivered to a local pickup point. I’m not sure if he has his packages normally re-routed there to avoid porch pirates or if the driver misread the address. After several days unclaimed at the pickup point, it was returned to us. Because the replacement was sent from our distribution center, and not the repair lab directly, we weren’t made aware that the package was returned to us.

I PM’d Kevins750 (my SH handle is xxxxxxx) asking him to call me directly. Once I can get on the horn with him I will confirm the address we have on file for him and get a replacement (upgrade) sent out. Also, the reply he received from us is a standard acknowledgment email we send everyone letting them know that we’ve received their request and are experiencing a high volume at this point in time. That was an immediate point of contact correspondence sent 13 hours ago."

All is straightened out. Bushnell CS is good to go with no issues folks. :)

They tried to downgrade you and you wanted none of it. That’s what I read anyhow. Lol

I ordered a scope from Leupold (50% off cert) in late January of this year and it shipped the next day. If a company is too busy to ship your stuff timely, that shows you how much they value you as a customer.

That said, it looks like Bushnell was, and is, on top of this particular shipping snafu...

Thanks to everyone on here. I didn't want this to be a shit on Bushnell thread. I have quite a bit of Bushnell scopes from low cost hunting scopes to elites. I will continue to buy from Bushnell and doug.

Again, sorry to any Bushnell reps on here, I didn't want this to be a bashing or finger pointing session.

Just wanted to know where my little scope went. Hopefully they didn't replace my scope, sounds like they might have. Me and that scope and that old 06' been placea and seen some things.

That is why I kept my mouth shut,I figured it would be fixed as soon as you posted about it.
As for Doug, people will be hard pressed to beat his quality of service along with the entire Camera land crew.

I've always had great service before and after yhe sale.

I had a similar experience, they literally sent me a new scope when elevation went wonky. The turn around was a little over a week.

I'm glad you got it worked out but when you have to go on a forum for the company to fix it, it sheds some light. Hopefully, it was just a one time deal, too many good options out there nowadays.

If it were me and after 2 months,I would pick up the phone instead of email's. I've had better service from Bushnell than Leopold. Sent in a Leopold the first of January for the second time for the same reason and just received it back. And in my opinion they should have sent a new but did not.

Honestly I forgot about it. It sits on an old Winchester 70 that i got as a kid and really don't shoot much anymore.
Recently I got into casting bullets so I wanted to put some down range with it and remembered the scope.

I have had great service from Bushnell on multiple occasions. Buy with confidence.

Agreed they have always taken care of my issues in a very timely matter. Something using the tracking number which they do provide to see where your item is at. The next excuse can be I never got a tracking number but it was there just in the junk mail and got deleted.

Yeah that sucks. I had a pair of Busnell Elite Binos I sent in and they were back in hand within a week. Everyone right now is slow to ship and work. It’s the craziest thing. Multiple thing I’ve ordered in the past month have gone back ordered even though they were in stock when I ordered. Look at Geissele... lol I I’m still waiting for an upper from November. They must get their steel blanks from China ??...

I have a Bushnell spotting scope that I have had since 1986. In 2008 while using the zoom ring to increase the magnification, something broke. I sent it to Bushnell to be repaired. They would not repair it and sent it back to me. I will never buy Bushnell again!

I think it's a little unfair to expect them to repair a scope that's 22 year old. Keeping parts on hand for that long seems a bit excessive.
