Bore guides

Do "700" footprint actions all use a 700 bore guide? I imagine they are the same internally other than caliber, helping a friend with what I believe is a Defiance-have to confirm.
Other than Possum Hollow, any other good names?

it would depend on the bore diameter raceway or diameter of the Bolt.
If it's the same as a rem 700 It should be the same I would think.

I was on Defiance's site, standard .700 unless it's a paid extra for a .750. I will confirm on the action. The Bore Tech ones look ok? Then I saw the Lucas

Lucas makes a great product. I have several and can attest to that.
I find myself using Possum Hollow bore guides more and more as they are usually easier to get in a short (want it now) timeframe.

I haven't tried them, but I hear hear PMA makes good ones. Their website says they custom make them.

My Lucas bore guides are great. If he is still making them, it's a good option.

I have a Sinclair , bought it 25 years ago. Its a white solid plastic rod fits snug in the rem700 action.
Wait , Brownells owns Sinclair , maybe I can return it!

The bore guide fitment depends on the action raceway diameter, chamber depth and diameter, and rod diameter.

I like Lucas and Sinclair bore guides.

If you order from Mike Lucas provide him the rifle/action and caliber the guide is for as well as the diameter of your rod guide since he matches the rod guide insert to best fit your cleaning rod.
