Kestral is very vigilant in their pricing models. They are one of the companies that are strict on what you list prices at. There isn't much of a markup on kestral products. So if you find anything lower than what they list for just about everywhere, jump on it!

The Elite features are worth it. Will they do the same thing an app on the phone does? Certainly. But a dedicated unit for ballistic calculations is worth it's weight in gold.

Misread your original post, sorry. Only if you have the Sportsman, is it $190. So yes... $300 in your case.

No, you get the exact same features as a 5700 Elite off the shelf. All Kestrel 5700 models share the same hardware, only the firmware is different.

Yes, LINK works with the BDX, Leica, etc.

Basically, this model was sold as a package with Bushnell. This is likely an overstock problem so that's why the price. It's an opportunity that probably won't be around very long or come back n in the future.
