Well the OP DID say "22lr through my rifle can" though shooting 556 through a 22lr can would probably greatly reduce the weight of the 22lr can in short order.
Do it and then go shoot it. Take video and post it here.
Quick question. How are we supposed to know if it will hurt it? First, you don’t tell us what kind of can it is, it could have been a soup can for all we know, and now you’re telling us it is a Form 1 can. What is it made out of? Does it come apart? Is it a kit? Does it have wooden baffles and a chicken wire sleeve?
You’ve told us fuck all about whatever solvent trap, bullshit, wannabe gun muffler you’re cramming rounds from every gun you own through.
IF it handles a 308 then I can’t imagine you could hurt it with the washer. I regularly pressure wash my powder-coated aluminum deck with no detrimental results, and I have to think your Form 1 can is made or more stout material. If your can isn’t good with being shot wet, make sure you get it dried out before popping rounds off.
But in the end, we’re probably all just making educated guesses for discussion’s sake.

That might be an idea worth exploring. I've seen guys take a barrel off a muzzleloading rifle to the car wash then put the wand down the barrel and turn the water on. I even tried that myself once. It gets the darn thing pretty clean.
Maybe some talented machinist could come up with an adapter to fit most power washers.

In my mind all I can see is someone trying to hold a can on the end of a pressure washer, pulling the trigger and sending it 3 blocks over....
Pressure washer works quite well especially when used in conjunction with one of the chemical soak methods .
The muzzle pressure on a centerfire rifle is going to be typically in the 10 - 15K psi range depending on caliber and barrel length , 1800 psi pressure washer is well below that.

I sure hope your can isn't seeing 15k psi. Unless its a SBR, you are looking at around 8k psi for a 16" 5.56 and 308. Still 1600psi of water, shouldn't do much. Neighbors might look at you funny for shooting a suppressed pressure washer in your driveway, but that depends on your neighborhood lol.
I have found some info about how to use pressure washers here https://best-pressure-washers.co.uk/best-petrol-pressure-washer/. As I understand it can be dangerous to use it for rifle cleaning as you can damage its parts. But you can try to use different nozzles to reduce the pressure of water but it is better to test on other objects before.
