Richmond, VA 1980. Marlboro’s were .48 +.02 tax, so .50 out the door. I got to visit the Phillip Morris factory where they were made, cool tour and a free pack! I quit years ago too, thank God.
The ship would actually pull out of Norfolk Naval Base on a "training" cruise, get past the 3-mile limit, and open the ship's store until all the cigarettes were gone. (About 14 seconds.) And then steam back up that looong channel.
It is not this, but reminds me of Sioux City Iowa back in the day.
And you thought the spiders and snakes were the biggest danger in the outback!!!

You know, as a Shirt in the day, I really hated those calls. Got to be when I was deployed I would hole up in the tent so I could claim ignorance to the general debauchery.
You guys talking about the cost of gas when you were mowing lawns as a yougin'. I started mowing lawns with an old fashion human powered lawn mower. Not that I'm that old, I was just too poor to own one of those gas powered thingies. I mowed lawns for 3 years with that mower and didn't realize what I was missing. I then bought a car before I could drive and worked on it until the day I could drive. Then shortly after that, I blew up the engine.

I agree, and I know most people think her ink is over the top. But ink aside, she is incredibly hot, and I happen to love it, personally. No way I'd kick her out. She'd never spare a look at a guy like me, though.

I was shopping those (Superformance version) pretty hard about 10 years ago. Got a ride in this one below. Decided I wouldn’t be happy unless I bought their GT-40, which was too much dough at the time.
This one with a big block and Webbers, or nothin.
