I doubt it. That process uses 250 psi of methane or propane..... which means tanks of the stuff onsite at high pressures. If they are in a fire long enough it goes boom.
I’m not who you asked, but unless there’s something suspicious it was probably someone who F’d up a safety protocol. Hash oil production is extremely dangerous, even in a controlled lab setting. Illicit hash oil labs blow up about as often as meth labs If they’re conducted indoors. THC oil extraction requires the use of large quantities of butane.
