Why would anyone want a PEQ-2 these days? A lot better options. Unless you are going for an early GWOT clone like I carried in Iraq in 2006. My personal 20" AR-15 is set up as an M16A4 clone. Only difference is lack of three round burst and a full HBAR barrel. Oh and a MIAD grip to replace the A2 grip. But those were available when I was in Iraq, I just wasn't able to get one before deploying. But if you compare my clone to the FN M16A4 I was issued, you need to hold both guns to see any difference. I even still have the Specter 3 point sling I used back then on my clone. I did have a PEQ-2 back then. It spent most of the time locked up since our team lead had a strick no night ops policy (he had to be back on the FOB in time to schmoopie with his wife by a set time).
Oh, and the OP, for claiming he is a US Central Command Special Ops bubba, all he has done is confirmed in one post he is special....

Knucklebrains, after priming the thing, then loaded a charge of loose Pyrodex from one of the premeasured plastic charging tubes attached to the buttstock. I was working all week so I only had time to follow this thread by bits and pieces. If I am correct, the PEQ is a unit that emits an invisible IR beam that is strong enough to cause permanent eye damage, is it? Couple that with the latest trick from the ANTIFA playbook involving the use of lasers to blind police officers and just how fucking thirsty and desperate this guy was trying to get his hands on one, this was shady and suspicious as all hell and I can see 99% of the membership caught onto it right away.
This is an especially dangerous and make-or-break period of time right now and I SERIOUSLY hope everybody out there are screening potential buyers of any weapons/ammo/tactical gear. I would not sell a fucking butter knife to somebody if they have as much as a "Biden 2020" decal on their FB/whatever posts.
