Yes, it's been done.
The wonderful modularity of the TRG/KRG setup.
Too bad KRG doesn't sell all their rear stock models separately. It would be interesting to be able to "pick and mix".
Could you please provide me with a link to their web shop where I can order an X-ray rear section for my TRG-42?Krg sells all their rear sections separately, the w3 fixed/folding and bravo.

Keep on pedaling bicycle boy...That’s like putting a $500 set of Chinese wheels on a Lamborghini.
Well I've got a complete rifle. It was a comment to your "all their rear sections". Leaving out 1/3 of the production isn't all.Interesting choice of action to go with. Last I talked with Krg is they are going to get caught up on the x-ray due to the new model release, and later possibly release the X-ray back half separately.

as long as the chinese wheel is round.....then there isn't an issue. buying name brand wheels is pointless once you hit a certain age...and ive had multiple sets of volks, SSR's, CCW, etc.. (in a previous live i was known as GSRswapandslow on HT....)
its a great idea to add adjustability to a classic rifle.
The only disadvantage would be durability possibly. If you aren’t dropping behind enemy lines then I don’t see the issue.Has anyone tried this? The rear stock off of my Tikka KRG Bravo stock fits nicely on my TRG-22 and now I have adjustable cheek piece, has anyone else tried this and are there any downsides to using this versus the original stock?
The issue is rarely the roundness, the biggest issue is the runout with cheap wheels that makes the car feel like it’s going to explode at high speed from the vibrations. Or the shit material that will eventually crack around the hub area from the high heat transfer from braking. Or stress fractures from acceleration or cornering.
My point is that you don’t put cheap shitty wheels on a performance car, just like you shouldn’t put Tupperware stocks on high end rifles. I wouldn’t expect someone who considers Honda’s a performance vehicle to understand this though.
