Biden's new gun taxation

I'm curious to see if people are as concerned about what a Biden administration will do to legal gun owners. I was speaking with an FFL owner; he's thinking the gun/magazine taxes will be similar to property taxes. Apparently, the taxes will be applied annually. I thought it was a one time tax per gun/magazine. My friend was thinking, and I agree, Biden's plan is make legal gun ownership simply too expensive.

Of course his plan is to make (certain) gun ownership too expensive. That way nothing has been banned, but no one can actually own them. Sidestep the second amendment if possible. This is (one of many reasons) why the remaining Senate races are important, as most of his plans require congress to make them law. The way he want to push things, hopefully the ATF will do something crazy enough that the supreme court has to make a new ruling on a second amendment case.

Win Georgia. Only congress has the power to tax.
I think he should float the idea which will assure the House and Senate will be red in 2022. Just the same old tired incompetent Obama retreads in his administration.
Are yous retarded?

They stole the presidency why do you think any other / future election would be different ?

Hi,

Show me a single President in the history of the USA that actually completed his 100 days in office dreams and I will worry about his tax shit.

I have 2 FFLs, 2 different ITAR registrations and 1 SOT with pretty much zero concern of Bozos dream list.

Sincerely,
Theis
So I shouldn’t fire sale all my shit this weekend?

Well last I checked I wasn't retarded but at 65 years of age maybe I should have it checked. Or on the other hand being of that age maybe I have experienced enough shit in my life that I may actually know something. My point is the Dems always overreach and it will backfire on them. No doubt the election was stolen and is has brought into focus the corruption in government, the media and electoral system. This will be a redo of the same incompetent administrator as Obozo but without the charisma. Sometimes you win in the long run by loosing in the short. Biden is in deep shit and he will be considered an illegitimate president by a large percentage of citizens. Remember Obozo lost the House and Senate in his first mid-term elections as well as being killed in the state legislatures.

I don’t think they will pull anything off around 2A restriction of any kind. Although it would be nice to have a functioning NRA in case an executive order got signed that needed to be fought. Pipe dreams at this point.

Yeah uh huh. Like a poll tax.

But $200 tax etc etc etc etc
As usual we do nothing to challenge them so they continue to operate unlawfully against us. If they concerned themselves with what a piece of paper said we still have a government limited by the Constitution not a people limited by the Constitution. It's our job to hold them to it, and it's our job we are failing at.

Very good points. I'm praying we keep the Senate, and win the House back in two years.

Very true, we are failing to hold government accountable. However, sometimes we are our own worst enemy. Those of us who are still able to problem solve see that people with mental disorders are being used to prove their points.

Well, this time around there's Gun Owners of America, Second Amendment Foundation, and Firearms Policy Coalition in the fight, too. NRA is primarily a sporting club, while GOA, SAF, and FPC are no-shit legal advocacy groups. So, we'll see how it goes.

I'm not affiliated with FPC (aside from personal donations), but apparently they convinced Amazon to do something like Brownell's NRA round-up.

What do you base that on?

Quick search says 222 to 211 in the house. Everyone is up for election in 2022. Slim majority not much room to hide.

Senate is even closer 34 of them up for election in 2022.

Who's sticking there neck out to chance getting booted from the gravy train?

Rona is number one priority. Keeping jobs is priority two.
Pandering to your base while doing nothing is three

Guys, I don't think there are no advantages in this decision. After all, not all the population of the country has weapons, in addition, this is probably an incentive for there to be less violence in life.

It's funny how they come on the forum, post some obscure message to a thread that is almost a year old. You have to wonder if they aren't doing a Google search and finding these posts, joining the forum and posting.

What's the over/under for the ban hammer to fall?

I say less than 20 posts.

the only way to reduce the violence is to purge america of the democrat scumbags that perpetuate the problems associated with poverty, and public school failure factories that sabotage the future of poor kids across the nation.

I'd really like to know how many crimes are committed the different political party members. How many homicides are committed by Democrats compared to Republicans. How many rapes by Dems vs Reps.

Just a breakdown like this would probably speak volumes.

i doubt that gang members vote. i am not sure if you can automatically assign a party to them.
the poor are programmed to believe they can't survive without entitlements (or crime), and the failure factories ensure this.
i can't blame the victims for the crimes of the party itself.

i lived in a crip neighborhood for a long time. my neighbors were not political and were too occupied with just making ends meet.
