How does the TBAC Brake compare to non-suppressor mount brakes?

While I’m waiting for my Dominus I had been pretty set on the 419 hellfire system but that’s a pretty big investment for a brake and suppressor mount especially if it only provides marginal or no improvement over the TBAC brake. How does the TBAC brake compare to other muzzle brakes out there? Am I going to notice a huge difference keeping it instead of going with the hellfire? This is for a PRS rifle in .260 rem

I had both. TBAC on my 280AI and Hellfire on my 6.5. I didn't notice much of a difference. I was going to go the Hellfire route with suppressor adaptor too. Then I decided I wanted to be lazy and not have to remove a brake and put on an adapter every time I want to shoot suppressed on the 6.5. That's just me though.

I have a dominus on order too :D had them pre-ship the brake already.

I go back and forth on this all of the time.

I have an Ultra 9 waiting for approval, so I plan on running suppressed most of the time in the future. But the concern is when I go to a suppressor unfriendly state and if I will wish I had a different muzzle brake.

According to Silencerco:
The eight states that currently do not allow individuals to own silencers are California, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachussetts, New York, New Jersey, and the Rhode Island.

Can take 3 or 4 off the list for shooting/hunting destinations right away.

I live in Wisconsin, and matches in IL are only a few hours away. Other than that I am not real concerned about it.

I did the same thing. Got the brake from the Dominus and bought a second

that’s good feeeback on the lack of difference. I’m leaning towards keeping it for the time being

I have a Dominus CB in jail and currently have a 30P-1 and a Harvester. Since the Dominus is a brake attach and I have 2 Hellfire brakes already, I invested in the Area 419 system for all of my suppressors. I don't use the brakes much, but I have 8 different rifles that I swap suppressors between. The adapters are cheaper than the TBAC CB mounts.
