Sidearms & Scatterguns Looking for Holster Recommendations

I cannot possibly overstate how happy both my wife and myself are with the Safariland ALS 7377-283-411 (G19, G23) Hi-ride belt loop version.

It's absolutely the fastest holster I have ever owned.

Reholsters like a gunbucket. Level 1 retention.

My wife instinctively caught on after basically the first draw, it's awesome ergonomically.

Got about a dozen of them now for all flavors.

Only the ALS 7377-183-411 (G26, G27) required some light sanding to speed up the Gen 3 at the two pads on the underside/front where the rail would be if it had one.

Appendix:
Tier 1 Axis Elite or Aegis Elite

Outside:
Tier 1 Centurion w/ Safariland Verticle belt loop.

I've been very happy with all of my ANR Designs holsters. I have a Safariland and ANR OWB holster, they each have different uses. The Safariland is nice but huge.

For IWB I don't see anything better than the ANR holsters. I run 4-6 miles a day with a Glock G45 w/ TLR-1HL in mine. If I got a micro gun I would grab a Raven 'holster' that just covers the trigger.

I recently acquired a Glock 19 gen 3 and put a holosun 509t on it. Now looking for a good IWB and OWB holster. What brand/model does everyone recommend?

After having a Fist Holster made for you and your gun, everything else is garbage.

Seriously, the hybrid (kydex inside, leather outside) holsters custom made for you, is the only way to go. So much better than anything commercially available. I have gotten probably 10 or more through the years, and given some as gifts... it's not much more money at all and there's none better out there. It's not close.

Check out Phlster for IWB stuff for sure. I’ve been carrying my G19 with RMR and X300 for about 8 months in their flood light and The best way I can describe it is shockingly comfortable. Stay away from hybrid IWB holster they can fail in to many ways and are fairly unsafe.

Jim Murnak does incredible leather work.
I would highly recommend.

This guy knows what's up. The best part is that you can call and talk with Jim, and tell him what you'd like to do, send him a picture of your build so it will be made to fit better, ect... Jim has made me a gun belt, and MANY holsters through the years. Once you have one of his, you won't ever even consider a different holster. The only "non- Fist" holster I have is a duty holster, otherwise, all Jim Murnack hand made, and they are all extremely durable and by far the most comfortable holster you can get. Period!

I really like JM Custom Kydex. Almost all his designs incorporate some “lateral wedge” that effectively twists the grip in towards the body for better concealment.

Have you tried the hybrid? That's my fave. I have a few models he makes, but any of them with he kydex inside and leather outside just gives you the best of both worlds. You get a positive "click" type fit, but with the ability to mold to where you carry on your hip like leather does. Of course the kydex also provides for a great draw. Even after the years of abuse I give to a holster, never had any kind of de-lamination issues. I don't know how he does it, but it's like they are forged together. Super nice!

Jim is great.
Met him years ago while at a Billiard/Pool Expo when Jim was making custom cue cases.
His work was amazing.
The leather work on his holsters is top tier.
‘Looking at another option and it will be a Fist.
