Sidearms & Scatterguns Benchmade Knives enthusiasts thread

I dont think so. Feels pretty good. Just work it for a while
Thanks @BLKWLFK9 ive been doing that. Put some oil on the friction area where the button release and blade ride but the button will still stick till right before it releases. I think it’s the tension that the blade spring it putting on the button because if I push the blade back into the grip the button is smoother. Might have to send it back.

TSA guy got a free Benchmade AO from me last week.
Usually I have a checked pelican for work. This time I didn't so I forgot it was in my backpack.it was only 3 months old☹

That sucks man. I went to Vegas and back a few years ago with a cheapo gas station knife clipped to my back pack the whole time. Got home and went.....oh.... 3 diffrent airports.

I've been hanging on to these for years.
Original Clackamas made Balisong knives.
Any idea if the 239s and 259s models are still made?

Are there any first-hand comments about the Benchmade Mini Stimulus (3551) automatic? There's one sitting down at our local hardware/ranch supply store.

Benchmade Mini Stimulus Auto

For the past 4-5 years, my EDC has been a Benchmade 470 Emissary AXIS-assisted opening and I've been quite pleased with it. (Before this was yet another Benchmade.)

Benchmade 470 Emissary

The problem, if you will, is my arthritis that sometimes kicks up enough that I can't open the blade with one hand. So I thought I'd try another auto. The Stimulus appears to have a convenient safety, something I appreciate having had a couple very sharp autos open in my pocket.

Thank you,
Richard
