First off, I know everyone has their faves, not knocking Era Tac, etc., however...

This is one bad-ass piece of kit man! I've used Badger one pieces for quite a while, solid as fuck, but they're heavy. I don't usually get all wound up over a goddamn set of rings or a one piece mount but this thing just feels different. Judging from the bottom of it, looks like four points of contact to the rails, two (fat, I'd be surprised if they fit a non-spec rail) lugs and two flat sided crossbolts.

Condition One costs more but it's MUCH lighter and it looks every bit as solid to be honest. Was shocked how light it is. Did I say it's light?

And if you like hanging shit off your scope mount, this is for you. All I plan on for this one on an MRAD is to add a cosine indicator, I want one of those on any large caliber, long range bolt gun, especially on the rough terrain where I shoot but that's it. SIMRAD, Wilcox, LRF, reflexes --and by far the most high speed bubble level if you're into those, they gotcha covered. And in anodized FDE or black.

    Definitely worth a look.

    I have both a 34/0 C1 and a Leap 07.

I'd choose the LEAP 10/10 times.

SV has a heck of a lot more real world experience than I do, so I'd probably default to his opinion over mine. I'm just a high drag Pog.

    Oh. Wow. Please elaborate

The C1 is, basically, just a variation on a theme. Very similar to a lot of mounts out there. I have a tough time seeing a difference between the C1 and a Geissele.

The LEAP is a work of art. It is unique in every way. It's even lighter than the C1 and with that funky leveling screw, it's easy to get a perfectly level scope every time. The ring system is super-easy and you don't need to do some funky alternating screw-down, and you don't need to worry about your scope shifting ever-so slightly when tightening the rings with the LEAP.

It's an innovative piece of kit. I'm not a huge fan of the ratcheting thumbscrews for rail tightening, but it works.

That said, if you need to stick more stuff on your scope -- like an offset RDS or a RAPTAR, then the C1 is more "Spuhr-like" in that regard.

That sums up my love for ARC rings/mounts. If only ARC made a cantilever lightweight mount. Been wanting to give the LEAP a try for a while now.

C1 is nice, all except for those big old bolts hanging off the side.
Side charger with that mount, no thanks. Been there, what skin
Doesn’t get left on the ground by my knuckles dragging,
Got left there. The Seekins are nice for the price, I have more
ERA-TACs than anything, and if you need QD and actually want something
To return to zero, well look no further. Its not light though.
I’m waiting on a 34MM Leap To try based on recommendations.
If you can find one, and 30MM ring size, 1.5 height, the Wilson Combat
V3 ultralight is very nice. Under 6 oz, made outta 7075, and streamlined
With nothing to bust your knuckles on. They are hard to find but are the nicest
And lightest Non qd 30MM AR height one piece mount I have found.
I have not used a LEAP yet, but the WC was about half the cost of the LEAP.
7075 gonna be quite a bit stronger than 6061 which a lot of these mounts
    Use.

Yeah, I wouldn't, and didn't, put one of these on a SCAR/Mk20. Went with the ADM Delta w/thumbscrews for that. Hell, it was made for it, can be turned around and the lugs appear to be pretty low.

But for an MRAD that C1 with a cosine indicator looks to be the titties. It does what I need it to do.

NF makes a similar one under Lightforce USA but who knows if we'll ever see it. It looks better than what they currently have but who knows?

Having had LEAP and ARC, I prefer ARC. I just wish ARC made mounts for us folks that like "hanging shit off our scopes."
For real. I really wish Ted would expand the M10 mount options. He already has the golden ticket with the best rings on the market.

Arc rings on a Bobro mount would be perfection for me.
