How were the pictures taken? Drone? Was the camera just tilted down? Stitched together? Did they use a tilt shift lens or not?
Interesting tidbit for you, my great uncle Howard had the distinction of having the worlds tallest tree named after him, The Howard Libbey Tree. 363' tall, it was knocked out a dozen years later when they found one down the road a few feet taller. Uncle Howard would come and visit a few times each year, always drove a new Cadillac and smoked HUGE cigars. I've lived all my life amongst these redwood's ( Humboldt ) and they are still awe inspiring.

Had a lot of mornings like this at 11-12k ft in CO over the years.
up at 0400, skinning up some drainage and hill by 0500.
enjoy the sunrise with a snack and cup of jet black coffee and ski down.
Would even do this and report to work at 1000 at the ER at the base of the ski hill.
nowadays I ski groomers in-bounds and play cards with cocoa for the “warm you toes” sessions.
both are great parts of life, and the part where I share it with my daughter is for sure the best.
