Currently have a beam scale. For those of you who have the CM Lite is it worth the money? What are the pros and cons in your opinions? What advice do you have for someone buying the electronic scale?

A balance beam is cheaper, more accurate, and more reliable; but it is dramatically slower and requires your full attention during the powder measuring process.

I now own two CM Lites (with reducing inserts and a line conditioner) and will never go back. If I ever get to the point that I need more accurate powder measurements I will buy an Autotrickler v3.

What is a line conditioner. I’ve heard of the reducing inserts.

A line conditioner is a device that regulates the electrical current that goes to your scale. It removes "noise" and other electronic fluctuations that might interfere with the CM while it is operating. It also will protect against electrical surges. Here is an Amazon link to the one I use:

just starting reloading and got one of these. i like it. .1+/- when i throw on the 50 and 100 weights, seems pretty accurate. i like that you can set it to start refilling when the pan is placed back on it, sure others do that as well.

I love mine. Did the "straw mod" t it and it's dead nuts perfect every time. I make my favorite 6.5 CM loads to sub 5 SD with it. I always let it warm up at least an hour before using though.

I bought the “oversert” from MK Machining for my Chargemaster lite, worth every penny. Also bought the MK pan as well. Throws fast and right to the money, no over or unders. It’s key to let it warm up, have it level, and I like to wipe my down with anti-static wipes when I turn it on. The last 10
shot group i shot with rounds loaded from it had an ES of 11 according to my Magnetospeed

Does any dryer sheet work or is there a certain type your using? What are you all wiping down? Wipe down before using?
