Don't be surprised if you only receive a form letter non-response, if anything at all. But you can bet they will notice if they get a significant amount of pushback on this issue. It might at least make them question if they are doing the right thing for their bottom line.

I was living in Ft Lauderdale back in the mid 90s and took my son to quite a few Marlins games at Joe Robbie stadium. So when they went on strike they lost me. I've always maintained that when you start paying athletes their sport loses its purity. I quit pro sports a long time ago. I do just fine following NCAA

Just a quick observation: They like money....lots of money. Hint: Stop buying tickets, stop going to any semi-pro or pro baseball game, stop buying ANY MLB logo item (cap, jersey, etc etc)......WATCH how fast 75 million people can change an organization.

Last baseball game I saw was the Tigers v. Yankees at Comerica Park. Seats were so deep in the outfield I needed the Hubble telescope to see what was happening at the plate. Beer was almost $10.00 a cup
The ONLY thing that impressed me was the heads. They had cup holders way high up so you could use both hands and whiz easy , plus they were clean. Besides that a waste of time & $$
More importantly.....stop watching or better yet, cancel all tv subscriptions that host them. They generate funds thru advertisement.

Yet another effort to undermine/destroy another of this great country's pastimes.
Hypothetical;
When some percentage of the fan base of the the NFL, NBA and MLB have have enough and have departed, what will they do with their time ? I tend to think that some percentage of them will start "reading books". Educating themselves and becoming more aware of what is actually happening, why it is happening and most importantly, who it is that are pulling the strings. I don't expect it to be a high percentage of people and maybe not enough to make a big difference.
Personally, I have zero interest in pro sports. It started a long time ago for me. It was the hideous amount of money they were being paid, how much they were "idolized" and in particular, their ability to skirt the law for their crimes. All the while, a common person would have been thrown in the slammer and the key would have thrown away. The SJW/finger wagging from athletes is a real non-starter for me too. In short, no one that I care to admire.
Oh, and has anyone given any thought to the effects of school closure for at least a year on kid's academics, much less the kids that aspire to a pro sports career ? I guess the plandemic was intended to lower those bars. Another way of looking at it is to not expect that the kids coming up will have been better off for it. I think we will all see that society in general will have taken a serious hit as these kids grow up, graduate and have to compete in the job/sports market. The saving grace for them will be that the bar will have been lowered, such that their deficiencies due to interruption of academia will be masked.

I loved playing baseball when I was young, but, watching it never revved me up much. Too slow.
I loved watching football of all sorts but will never watch NFL again after the Kneelers took over. Done with that shit and had season tickets to the Broncos. Sold that shit and made a bundle. Had 2 50 yard line seats, first circle up from the field.
I do watch college football and enjoy that but I do expect that to get FUCKED UP soon where I can't even watch that.
I used to watch a litle bit of basketball but they play by different rules than when I played it, like 3 steps, and double dribble, and I really don't like seeing some ape hanging onto the rim swinging around after a shot. That was a penalty when I played. Basketball is FUCKED UP for me.
All I have left is Hockey and wasn't much of a fan of that until I was given 2 tickets to an Avalanche game and was fortunate enough that the person seated next to the Squaw and me was very nice and explained why the whistles blew and what was going on. He made it great for us and his Son was playing., otherwise I would not have had a clue what was going on. Bless his heart in the good way.
