Who wants a front row seat next to me for the Baghdad Boog?

Private gig? If so I am in.

Send me a PM if you need another. Was going to be in cartel land later next month for some gun work down there.

Have passport, kit and a fuck ton of experience over there as a civilian.

    Hi,

    Front seat like this, lol?

Do you know why the commander was arrested? Was it political infighting, corruption, or ??
Some protesters were gunned down and many injured by one of the militias here. Word is maybe he was the one that gave the order to open fire on the protesters.

    The protests were anti-Iran, btw....

The MSM is reporting the protests as "anti-government" without elaborating further. All these protests are about getting Iran, and their keystone cop bullshit militias the fuck out of Iraq.

Oh, them guys. Those are always parked out front of the Embassy on Al-Kindi street along with the CTS (Counter Terrorism) units. We gave those M1's to the Iraqi Army and, out of respect they used to point the barrels of that main gun at the Embassy like a salute of some sort.

It had to be explained to them it isn't good etiquette to point pew pew's at an allied Embassy. 🙄

Sure seems like every citizen of every country is a prisoner of their government. A small group of people are guilty of the worlds evil. These people have the wealth and control the world’s militaries and police (paycheck) to control the world’s population that hates their guts. Sick stuff if you think about it.

Maybe you should start your own

You have Atari aka Sadr and then Badr Corps. I figured Badr would go away after Hakim died but that apparently was not the case. Did his son stay in power of Badr Corps or did someone remove him and take his place?

Sistani usually stays out of the politics but when it comes to Iraqi's being killed he sometimes steps up and puts a stop to it. He is getting older and I know his health is failing so he might not have the stamina to deal with it?

I wonder where the Iraq South CDR is with all this?

    Interesting times.

I'm not at that level of caring. The Intel I have access to is pretty minimal at my level, plus no matter who dies, who takes the seat of power in any particular militia, political movement, etc here absolutely nothing changes and the Iraqi people are the ones who get the shit end of the stick.

That's just my view on things from the peasant level.

I have been down it a lot and in the square. The market next to it was renowned for black market stuff. Some of the stuff we found there was wild!

This picture was taken right by there. View attachment 7634046
A lot has changed since those days. Much more standard metropolitan type stuff. The black market stuff is elsewhere in town.
