Gray Ops Mini Plate Bag Issues

Hi everyone,

I am having trouble keeping my Armageddon Mini plate pro pad to my Gray Ops mini plate. The hooks on the bag usually last a stage and then slip off, making the bag unpredictable. Has anyone else had this issue or solved the problem?

I've tried tightening the straps, loosening the straps, increasing and decreasing the amount of fill in the bag and nothing has solved it yet...

Any help is appreciated!

Ditch that bag AND those hooks. Buy a Wiebad plate bag and never look back. I'm so disappointed in the Armageddon plate bag. The Velcro just plain sucks and they need to fix it. Wish I had done that in the first place.

Yes, I have been disappointed with the purchase. I removed the hooks and just using the straps, but the velcro is so weak I'm not expecting long life out of the bag. I own almost every Armageddon bag they make, but I wish I would have bought something else for my mini plate...

I was hoping I was using it wrong somehow, but it sounds like a common problem...

Yeah, I've been a Wiebad user and was excited about the Armageddon bag...Until I actually used it :(

Ignoring the strap issues, the fill on the bag out of all my flat bags is the most stable. I chose the poly standard fill but the way it came was perfectly filled and was most stable compared to all my other flat bags (area 419 d-bag, wiebad, and cole-tac)

I had the same problem with the Velcro not sticking very well. Also the angle of the hooks don’t allow for the bag to be tightened down to the plate. Play develops when you put the bag down on a prop in the hooks. I called Armageddon and they said there were some problems with the Velcro. They happily sent me a new bag with return mail for the old one. The Velcro is much stronger. The suggestion of attaching the bag to the plate without the hook sounds like a good idea. They provide great service...give them a call and see what they say about a new bag.

Good luck
Jeff

Jeff, wish I had called them like you did. I got the bag with the plate from GrayOps and didn't call either...Lesson learned. Glad it all worked out for you. Now I have the Armageddon bag that I'll never use...May still call them.

I also bought the bag and plate from Gray Ops. I told them (Armageddon)and it was no problem. They are great to deal with. I think Christina usually answers the phone. Give them a ring...I am sure they will take care of you.

Do you have pics of this new velcro? I have the same pad and the velcro works but it's not great. Just curious if I should reach out to AG as well.

They are a great company and good people. Call them and explain your issues, and I am sure they will take care of your problem. Its a free phone call. As with any company…they can’t help you if you don’t reach out to them. Let us know what the results are.
