Olympic wannabe pothead.. oops

I dont think its exactly 'legal' but pretty much anything goes in Seattle. Yu dont get prosecuted even for heroin.
Pretty sure only the extreme bikesters would be taking heroin on the Olympic team, and that isn't exactly a sport anyway.

Yes. The drugs made them do it. How many criminals do you know?

A couple, and no, that’s a excuse

It’s right up there with “because I’m black”

The drugs made them do it is a cheap puritanical cop out, because the issue of culture is a much more difficult and less of a smooth brain solution vs banning stuff.

Guess you think more gun laws will also turn gang bangers into brain surgeons and priests?

One of the women should carry pepper spray or better yet a taser. Light his junk up as he steps into the hot tub.

don’t change the subject

drugs alter brain chemistry and enable people to do what they want as consequences are no longer in the calculation.

You know a couple criminals? I know a couple thousand. I know their parents and their children. You don’t have a clue about what drugs do to people.

BS, drugs don’t change the entire person, maybe loosen inhibitions, but it doesn’t make a whole new personality, shy of the person already having multiple personalities

It’s just a simple cop out, for simple people, to make simple rules, for a ever complex array of culture/psych problems.

But hey, it makes low IQ Todd and Tammy sleep better at night, makes money for gov agencies and contractors, and that’s the real important thing.

One would think that her being in the Olympics was more important to her than the temporary bliss of being stoned, but it's no big secret that marijuana use makes you stupid. You need not venture from this very thread to find ample confirmation of that elegant fact.

yeah, remember that idiot who invented those ipads and iphones, that thing never took off.

speaking of taking off, how about that failure named musk and his rocket and electric car stuff, complete failure there too

or like most of the founding fathers

Pretty sure it is non-controversial that some drugs have significant long term effects on dopamine receptors in the brain. It isn't wrong to say that drug use can create physiological changes. I mean the entire reason for most legal drugs is to promote beneficial physiological changes, so I am not sure why it would be surprising that other drugs do it too.

thing is you don’t have the puritans spouting off about people taking basically the same drugs but prescription, AKA gov taxed and regulated.

or coffee or booze, or tobacco

You also have to take a TON of drugs to change your whole personality, sure it can happen, but you’re talking a very small minority of people.

Well, to be fair a drug that is meant to shrink a tumor in your body is a bit different from one that is meant to get you high, so I am not sure your argument is a good on those lines. With alcohol, your argument is right on.

I fall in a weird intermediate zone. I don't really care what people do with their bodies or what drugs they take, and don't have much interest in it. At the same time, I have seen drugs legalized in a number of areas and have yet to see one of those places get anything but worse according to numerous metrics, so I do see a lot of reason for people to be against legalization, even if we can't connect the causal dots very well.

I think each drug and each individual body chemistry is going to determine how much it takes. With pot, I am not sure there are any proven long term effects. With meth and heroin, my understanding is that they can be pretty quick.

I’d also like to point out she’s only 5’1” runs in “fuck me” nails. She’s doing things people say can’t be done.

I’m really disappointed.

fuck. Rules are rules but this sucks.

And she apologized. To everyone. Her supporters and the rest of you slow ass fat asses.

Holy coke nails batman🤣🤣

look at all the mental health drugs and pain killers, basically just lab made, gov stamped versions of what people buy on the street, but the fudds will point their slow to react “i have back pain” pill popping fingers at the guy shooting h on the street, “don’t be like that Billy, now hand dad his pills, that back pain is starting up again” 😂

OK. Not sure how that contradicts anything I have said, though. I definitely think the government imprimatur on a lot of these drugs has allowed "upstanding" folks to become drug addicts while retaining illusions of moral superiority. And worse, they blame the drug companies when they become junkies, rather than themselves, who deserve all of the blame.

It’s not bs. You don’t deal with these people on a daily basis. You don’t have a clue. Crimes have quadrupled in areas where these “reforms” were implemented.

Except Billys dad isn't breaking and entering your house and selling your AI for a hundred bucks to support his habit. As far as rehabilitation these laws are not about turning these losers into brain surgeons its to get them off the street and out of our lives. And no I don't give a shit about THEM. You know those people. Did I trigger you?

Don't be a "Buzz Kill" Man.

Just when the resident Burn Out @Maggot , the self proclaimed "Brain" @TurboTrout , and the "Human Cum Dumpster" @Choid were getting ready to blow simultaneous loads in each others asses, you come running in yelling "CAUGHT YA" !

Strange how a lot of people do stupid shit under the influence they never would have done otherwise. Without a doubt you have reached the Starship Dumbass.

nah, they would do stupid shit none the less, maybe they are slightly more likely to do something under the influence of whatever, but it’s not making a new person, that’s a argument of those who won’t take personal responsibility and the puritanical asshats

Let them all OD. More oxygen for me.

same with fatties, MI or have a stroke, over ideal body weight, EMS stands down, more air for me.

To me this is sad. She is a very talented athlete with what seems to be a good attitude and a bright future that blew it over this. Yeah, rules are rules and she broke them. Still sad to me.

I never heard of her till this, now she’s all over the news, play it right and this will be the best thing to happen to her

Bullshit. Even drunk people do things drunk they would never do sober. Ever deal with someone on meth? I mean personally.

Walking to get lunch because I’m hungry and not a scared little bitch?

And how do you walk? with a angry old man angry grimace on your face? Turn that frown upside down little buddy!

And why not smile? Honestly?

It’s not about personal responsibility. People on drugs should be held personally responsible. No one is arguing that. Stop changing the issue.

Drugs turn people into psychos. Maybe you could take one home with you. Then you will understand.

So reefer madness is a thing?

Are you comparing someone who smokes some weed with a few friends, or a white collar dude doing some blow at a party, with someone screaming at demons on the street who can’t go a day without whatever drug?

Because I’d say there are major differences between the two from the start. Take hunter biden, even without drugs the guy would have been mentally weak and malleable anyways.

When you get to the high level successful folks, tons have done drugs, some still do occasionally. The puritanical lifestyle was always one imposed on the pleabs, real world it’s like food, there’s a difference between someone who enjoys food responsibly, including a little junk food, and a 700lb blob who needs a flatbed vs a ambulance

There you go again changing the topic. The thread was about weed before you threw hard drugs into the mix and now you’re back to weed.

I agree there are some people who can function in society as recreational users of hard drugs but the are few and far between.

There are strains of MJ that produce a high that feels like meth. The MJ sold today is 4-5x more potent than the naturally occurring stuff. One of our psychiatrists was adamant about MJ triggering schizophrenia in people prone to that ailment.
