As far as Covid is concerned, I have the "just in case kit" ready, follow the I-mask protocol (i.e wear a N95 mask when and where it provides benefits) and accept to get the Wuflu at some point. By that time you will most likely be on your fifth plus jab. That looks to me like a Russian Roulette where you pull the trigger repeatedly. And we are not just talking about the risk of immediate side effects like Myocarditis, strokes, Guillain-Barre, Bell's Palsy, etc. Nobody knows what "syndromes" are going to be part of our normal vocabulary in one, five, or ten years after the jabs.
Maybe we are genetic freaks but staying as drug free as possible has served my family well. Father died at age 86, mother at 92, both lucid and on their feet until the last hour and last day respectively. My brothers and I get often asked whether we forgot to fill out the sections in a medical questionnaire where most people our age run out of space.
But here are the times we live in. Before a recent hernia operation, the surgeon prescribed - get this - Oxycontin for the potential post-op pain from two 1/4 inch and one 3/8 inch hole in my belly skin. WTF? I told the Doc that I have no prior experience with opiates, that I could be in the group of people who get addicted to this shit in two days, and that I am not going to take that risk. Oh, and I recently skied another 2 hours with a broken leg because I did not want to crawl down the mountain. So, I rather opt for a few potentially (!) miserable days. He talked me into taking a script for some other stuff that also had warnings about addictive potential on the official info available online. In the end, I did not even need a Tylenol. Just got out of bed a little less dynamically for two days.

But here are the times we live in. Before a recent hernia operation, the surgeon prescribed - get this - Oxycontin for the potential post-op pain from two 1/4 inch and one 3/8 inch hole in my belly skin. WTF? I told the Doc that I have no prior experience with opiates, that I could be in the group of people who get addicted to this shit in two days, and that I am not going to take that risk. Oh, and I recently skied another 2 hours with a broken leg because I did not want to crawl down the mountain. So, I rather opt for a few potentially (!) miserable days. He talked me into taking a script for some other stuff that also had warnings about addictive potential on the official info available online. In the end, I did not even need a Tylenol. Just got out of bed a little less dynamically for two days.
Could it be that after the military-industrial complex, the medical-pharma complex is fleecing us blind now?

I still don’t see any measurable benefit unless you are in a high risk category with multiple co-morbidities.
even then we don’t have much data on how many lives would have been/could be saved if instead of sending mild cases home with zero early treatment methods, and told people to only come back once they were about to die. Until extremely recently the method to treat Covid was, do nothing until you are literally about to die then come to the ER.

From what I have seen, the vaccines are not monolithic. The Moderna vaccine appears to be twice as durable as the Pfizer, and I am not sure about the J&J. This is with regard to "delta" for transmission. IOW, you aren't seeing the level of pass through cases with Moderna. As far as moderating symptoms, they both appear to be rather good, at least from what I have seen reported in the US. Yes, reported and US are confounding factors, but in a 60% or so vaccinated population it isn't nothing to see 80-90% of severe cases come from the 40% group.
I have read conflicting reports on Ivermectin and Hcq treatments, and I am not enough of an expert to unpack the differences. One real issue is that, from ariel views of burial plots near the Ganges, it appears India might have had 10x the number of deaths they actually reported, so honestly I can't say. I would say that they are certainly safe medicines, and human medicines, but that I would go through a doctor to get them in order to make sure you are on the right track.
My honest opinion about the vaccine is that I actually like you guys, despite how you feel about me, and because of that, and my belief that the vaccines are helpful, particularly the Moderna, is that you guys should get them. But I don't think anybody should force you to do so. I also think people should get in shape, lose weight, get stronger and all of the other good things in life that are likely to have a greater impact on your lifespan than will covid. But those things too are your choice.

Ask Winnie the Poo aka Xi Xinping. Its normal for viruses to mutate, the real question is why China covered it up so early, refused to cooperate with investigations. A lot of indications indicate it was lab origin. Even if it wasn't China drug their feet waaay to long.

But, the above happened to me as well for a very minor dental procedure. Got prescribed some substantial pain meds for something a couple of generic ibuprofen took care of in about 4 hours. I bet the amount of fuckery that goes on between "doctors" and pharma is insane. Not saying there isn't a time and place for the heavy hitters, but I have almost zero faith most docs and hospital admin will do what is right when it comes down to lining their pockets vs utilizing common sense.
