Getting to know her is the only thing that could convince me to move back to the festering pus pocket known as Colorado.
I met her at her restaurant “Shooters” in Rifle,CO. I was on a motorcycle ride to visit Doc Holiday’s grave in nearby Glenwood Springs, where I was born.
I sat at the bar for lunch. They were all very nice and friendly including Lauren, who I spoke with at length. She had blonde hair then. All wore open carry sidearms. This is a picture I snapped from the bar. I did not realise that because of the delay with my phone camera, she had turned around by the time it focused and fired. She’s on the left.
