One of the better heists... But nothing to do with Red Dawn.
As for Red Dawn... All made by propmasters, but I herad the agency thought the T72 was real and made a stink.
6 years later, the going rate for a T-72 on the black market in Berlin was a Mercedes Sedan. A Makarov was a pair of Levi's. The entire NTC was equipped with real Soviet Bloc vehicles for the cost of a single F117...
Communism doesn't work, despite so many who flirt with it thinking it will be all social justicey... when really it's all Genocidey... They eventually succumb to stupidity or greed. Or capitalism...

The Hind Heist is a better story when you are hearing from the guys that did it. Whole heist was cowboy action in indian country for sure.
