However, the stray dogs can be just as dangerous if not more, so it could be argued that the primates are doing a bit of a favor. I have seen what they call "throw-away babies" (mostly girl infants), get abandoned by dumpsters or other places and be killed by dogs or the pigs rummaging around. Its a different place with different ideas on things, especially in the villages.
