Loved the first look at the MDT TMBR chassis on their video and have some questions.\ realizing that all information at this point is as solid as a politician's promise

Any idea on the weight for a straight grip LH SA?

I saw the rail on the bottom is there going to be an ARCA rail that can be placed there?

How long is the forearm?

Any chance for an Anschutz 1761 LH inlet? (Finding a chassis for this rifle is THE holy grail search - Diogenes had it easier)

I asked about the weight and they said somewhere in the 4-5lbs range. So not lightweight really.

its not light if thats what youre hoping for. The reps at the booth said "basically its an XRS, but laminate for the people that like that look", and that was a fair assessment based on feel.

My wife is going to absolutely drool over a TMBR chassis for her Savage .223. We can only single load our 80gr 2.500" handloads in the OEM stock and bottom metal right now. She is adamant about keeping the wood stock look as she is a traditionalist in that regard. Being able to feed our long cartridges from the magazine will be a huge plus for her.

She's not too crazy on the multi color wood grain laminates. We would be one of the first to buy one with a black and brown laminate color.

I’d say “laminate for the people that like the feel”. Personally I much prefer the feel of a wooden stock to a plastic one. This ought to be a hit.
