    I mount with feeler gauges on the flat of the erector housing. But when I set my bubble level I use a laser level and the scope reticle.

    Operating temps state 14deg F on the low limit. Has anyone by any chance had it out in any colder weather? I don't shoot subzero temps often but I have on occasion. Wondering if it will still work. Manual says it will shut off if close to overheating but doesn't allude to anything on the cold limit.

    I have both, I like them each for different things. The optically the glass on the Gen 3 is better…. But I keep both around for different things.

    Dogtown, I’ve never had a bad barrel from pva and they have all shot lights out. Josh is good people and he will get you sorted out. Those 241s are something else. It’s almost got me wanting to build a 300 NM just to shoot them.

    Ive played with the 241s and they are an amazing bullet… they will be awesome in your 300 NM…. I just can’t push them fast enough. It’s good to know they are jump tolerant, I’ll give them a whirl and see how it goes.

    I’m about to test some 212s in a 1:7 24” 300 wsm. The 241s shot amazing when it was warm but I couldn’t get enough speed where I am in the winter to keep them stable. Probably going to try some RL 26 and see if I can get around 2850-2900fps.
