    Zermatt Origin bolt/firing pin loose

If it's just wiggling, it shouldn't be an issue. If you can turn the shroud more than half of a turn on the firing pin, email me and we'll get you sorted out. Thanks - Ray

    Zermatt Origin bolt/firing pin loose

In that specific situation, you need to remove one set screw and loosen the second one installed. Then, tighten the shroud on the pin completely and back it off three quarters to one full turn. Secure it in place with one set screw then reinstall the second with a small amount of blue Loctite...

    New Zermatt Lapua action

I'm sorry I missed this! We don't have any solid commitment to provide on availability. There are various parts that are already made, some in process and some parts to start producing completely. We still believe we'll have it available this summer. It's possible that aspects of this design...

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

Thank you for providing this feedback. Rest assured, we'll get it sorted out. I'd like to send you a return label for your barreled action to bring it in for inspection to see what else may be going on. We have not seen anything like this at this point, so we want to see what else may be going...

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

A geometry change was made to create more contact between the bolt body and the receiver at the leading edge of the closing cam as well as a material state change to increase durability. Thank you - Ray

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

Correct - cocking piece geometry was changed in mid 2023. Sear height concerns have been completely mitigated to my knowledge. Thanks - Ray

Origin short action and Hawkins Hunter DBM

This is correct. It's only a fitment issue with the Hawkins Hunter magazine system in those older Origin receivers. All other AICS magazine systems have been good to go to our knowledge. Thank you - Ray

Converting my TL3 barrels to Origin, anything I need to know?

I misled you originally because I read it incorrectly. Taking a TL3 pre-fit to an Origin pre-fit is considerably easier than what I laid out. You only need to set the shoulder back 0.100" to make a TL3-SA pre-fit work on an Origin. The chamber does not need to be recut. Sorry for the confusion...
