Veterinarian bills force sale, no trades.

Impact 737 action
Bartlein prefit by Altus, 22" 1/8 6.5cm
Foundation Centurion with adjustable recoil pad, full arca, dark distressed, standard weight.
Hawkins M5 DBM
Area 419 Hellfire match brake
Timney Elite Hunter trigger
Quantum Gunworks bolt knob (Impact knob still on hand)

Barreled action has 43 rounds down the pipe.
Full disclosure on the barrel, headspace gage scored the chamber which left a tiny lip of stainless about midlength through the chamber. I took the barrel to a smith to get that spot smoothed out. Chamber was not opened up to fix the damage, does not effect accuracy. Barrel barrel shoots half moa easy.

Looking for $SOLD shipped as a package.
I can split barreled action from stock and sell separate.

I'll get photographs up later once I'm back home.

What caliber?
Based on this post, it is most likely 6.5CM

Lot of scams going on, only do business w established members with positive feedback. Report your situation if you feel you have been scammed.

It’s interesting he says this rifle is still available. We made a deal where I send him $500 and then he was supposed to send the rifle to an FFL in Oklahoma until the balance was received. I sent the money and now he won’t ship the rifle. It looks like I’m out $500!
That’s scary I’m new here and been just watching and trying to learn before I jump in but with stuff like this going on I don’t see how I’d ever have a shot a selling some stuff Takes 1 to ruin it for everyone

Account since 2014 as well that’s crazy. Makes it harder to vet people if these bastards are committed to a decade of the long con…
I bet Hacked account. Always good to see and talk with people before you do a deal. I don’t think any shooter on here would be annoyed to shoot the shit on FaceTime with a fellow shooter for a second to verify. Make Face time the norm.

Time to fire up the “change your password, make strong passwords” campaign.

FaceTime is a great idea though. Gonna make that a definite step in the process.

There have been like 5 people in the past 6 months more or less claiming what you’re claiming, all with zero feedback

what day, time & method did you send $500

I’ve been dealing with gun people for years and never got scammed but there always a first time
That may be but…

when you sent this message in the public forum:
Is this rifle still available?
You practically waived a “scam me” flag for every scum bag watching this sight. It’s practically guaranteed that you weren’t dealing with the actual seller when you sent the money.

How many times before people realize that responding to a “buy/sell” ad in public, even with a “pm sent” or a “that’s purty” is a recipe for getting phished?

I'm not sure who you were making a deal with, but it wasn't me.
It sucks you got scammed, theres plenty of posts here showing how to confirm whoever messages you first is the actual seller.
Maybe post screenshots of your communication with whoever you dealt with in another thread.

For anyone else thats interested, I'm available for facetime, zoom, etc, to show I have it in hand and will more than likely be in a very easily identifiable uniform showing a career worth more than a $500 scam, you can also check in with people i've sold to/bought from as well

The scammer referred me to your feedback results. Claimed he needed to sell the rifle to pay his bills. I was willing to send the full amount to start with but the deal started have an odor to it. I walked away once but later I offered up a deal where I pay $500 and then he ships the rifle to the FFL in Oklahoma. When the rifle arrives, I would send the balance. He took the deal. After I sent the money, he said the credit card company took the money as soon as it arrived. He sent a picture of himself ( or someone), claiming he was a retired firefighter and needed more money before he could ship the rifle. I offered to send a shipping label so he could ship it. No response. He kept insisting he needed more money before he could ship it. By this time I knew I was screwed. As a last test, I told him I had a friend in the phoenix area. I would wire the money to him and meet him somewhere to make the trade. Silence. Tried to reach him one more time and he said if I would just send him $340, he would ship the rifle. Ha! I told him to eat shit and die. I hope these people rot in hell. What makes this deal really sting is the fact that my wife was telling me all along it was a scam.
It’s interesting that I gave joeyf86 a negative feedback after this deal and it didn’t show up.

There are lots of red flags on this deal:
Wouldn’t talk on the phone.
The name on the snipershide account didn’t coincide with his claimed name.
The email for the Zelle account didn’t match his name.
The Zelle payment wouldn’t go through on his end so he gave me the email of his wife but the name didn’t match his.
Urgency to make the deal.
Finally, he wasn’t willing to make a deal face to face.

Oh well, I’m a dumb ass sometimes.

Someone probably made an account with a name very similar to OP’s and messaged you off of your reply to this post. Double check what the account’s name is that you were messaging and if you can see this post in their post history.

Experience is either painful or expensive.

Sometimes both lmao

Put up a screen shot of the PM with the senders name in it.

Also you need to delete the negative feedback you left the OP as he did not scam you.

I’m new here and trying to learn
When you want to buy something or have questions, always send a private message to the seller yourself. I generally do this before I post anything publicly. Never publicly post any of your contact information.

If an account contacts you directly, make sure it is actually the seller and not a copycat account with a similar username (e.g. @jtvavghn @jtvaugn @jtvauhn)

For high dollar items:
If a seller won’t FaceTime or phone call, move on & be patient. Someone else will be selling the same item within a month or two.
Avoid buying from accounts with no feedback in the past year, although some exceptions can apply here.

Thanks for that. Much appreciated
