Quantum Gunworks bolt knob (Impact knob still on hand)

Barreled action has 43 rounds down the pipe.
Full disclosure on the barrel, headspace gage scored the chamber which left a tiny lip of stainless about midlength through the chamber. I took the barrel to a smith to get that spot smoothed out. Chamber was not opened up to fix the damage, does not effect accuracy. Barrel barrel shoots half moa easy.

Indent in brass with hard extraction, new barrel

Impact 737 with bartlein barrel, factory hornady tap 147 6.5creedmoor. New-ish barrel with exactly 30 rounds down the pipe. Extraction issue and indent began roughly 15-16 rounds in. No borescope, looked down the action and didn't see anything obvious. I can pull the barrel for inspection if...

You practically waived a “scam me” flag for every scum bag watching this sight. It’s practically guaranteed that you weren’t dealing with the actual seller when you sent the money.

How many times before people realize that responding to a “buy/sell” ad in public, even with a “pm sent” or a “that’s purty” is a recipe for getting phished?

I'm not sure who you were making a deal with, but it wasn't me.
It sucks you got scammed, theres plenty of posts here showing how to confirm whoever messages you first is the actual seller.
Maybe post screenshots of your communication with whoever you dealt with in another thread.

For anyone else thats interested, I'm available for facetime, zoom, etc, to show I have it in hand and will more than likely be in a very easily identifiable uniform showing a career worth more than a $500 scam, you can also check in with people i've sold to/bought from as well

I walked away once but later I offered up a deal where I pay $500 and then he ships the rifle to the FFL in Oklahoma. When the rifle arrives, I would send the balance. He took the deal. After I sent the money, he said the credit card company took the money as soon as it arrived. He sent a picture of himself ( or someone), claiming he was a retired firefighter and needed more money before he could ship the rifle. I offered to send a shipping label so he could ship it. No response. He kept insisting he needed more money before he could ship it. By this time I knew I was screwed. As a last test, I told him I had a friend in the phoenix area. I would wire the money to him and meet him somewhere to make the trade. Silence. Tried to reach him one more time and he said if I would just send him $340, he would ship the rifle. Ha! I told him to eat shit and die. I hope these people rot in hell. What makes this deal really sting is the fact that my wife was telling me all along it was a scam.

Someone probably made an account with a name very similar to OP’s and messaged you off of your reply to this post. Double check what the account’s name is that you were messaging and if you can see this post in their post history.

When you want to buy something or have questions, always send a private message to the seller yourself. I generally do this before I post anything publicly. Never publicly post any of your contact information.

If an account contacts you directly, make sure it is actually the seller and not a copycat account with a similar username (e.g. @jtvavghn @jtvaugn @jtvauhn)

For high dollar items:
If a seller won’t FaceTime or phone call, move on & be patient. Someone else will be selling the same item within a month or two.
Avoid buying from accounts with no feedback in the past year, although some exceptions can apply here.
