Itching to get our young into a global conflict.

The amended bill states:

Automatic Registration: The Military Selective Service Act (50 U.S.C. 3801 et seq.) is amended by striking section 3 (50 U.S.C. 3802) and inserting the following new section 3:
“SEC. 3. (a)(1) Except as otherwise provided in this title, every male citizen of the United States, and every other male person residing in the United States, between the ages of eighteen and twenty-six, shall be automatically registered under this Act by the Director of the Selective Service System.

“(2) This section shall not apply to any alien lawfully admitted to the United States as a nonimmigrant under section 101(a)(15) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1101) for so long as he continues to maintain a lawful nonimmigrant status in the United States.

I think with all the equal rights and non-gender specific (read gender confused) people around, they should make it mandatory for all humans within that age bracket.

Of course, people would start identifying as horses, cats, geese and whatnot. Not like they aren't doing that already...


So anyway, that begs the question of trans people. Do the ones transitioning to "male"have to register?
What about the other way around?
And then the non-binary, and....

What about illegals?

Awe, fuck it! I really couldn't care less

i thought selective service covered that. all 18 yo males are supposed to register with it. have i missed something here? or, is this some new draft like attempt? what,no women needed? shocker. what about trannies?
heinlein's idea in star ship troopers had merit. can't vote or hold office unless have done "gov service". totally voluntary and no choice in where you were sent or what you did. NO other benefits or preferences given. just can vote & hold office. no discrimination or disadvantage at all for not volunteering. sex didn't matter same,same for women.

When the first little adventure in Iraq fired up back in ‘91, we were at the dinner table and my Mom asked Dad what we should do if the draft started.
I was sitting there thinking “well, I guess I’ll go”.
Dad (Vietnam Vet) just said “I’d tell him to go to Canada”.

Now that I’m older, I understand everything my Dad was driving at.

When I was a young man, it was common knowledge that we were supposed to give information to selective service and I did, until the required age of 26. I had asthma as a teenager. So, I already knew I was a 4F from family who had served. But I kept it updated with new addresses, anyway. If they want me to serve, fine. My one regret is that I could not serve, because of a medical condition.

I had friends and relatives in the Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Army. I would have been in the Army. I don't know if I would have tested for 11 Bravo or 18 Bravo but a guy can dream, right?

Also, one of the most important things that Verhoeven nearly ruined in the movie "Starship Troopers" (adapted from Heinlein's novel) is that not only does Rico transition from a goof-off into a man, but the concept that you can only vote if you have contributed. So, soldiers earned citizenship. Women who became mothers and raised their own children without the state, could be citizens.

They stated this is to actually replace the prior reporting requirements. The difference is they had to put in writing permission for the 25 or so million illegal males to specifically exempt them from any responsibility or requirement here.

should use the 3-6 armies already here-chinese,cartel,hamas,etc. guess that won't happen. the elites do have miltary presence here. they think they can control them. think they are in for a nasty surprise on that. of course,they prob have a bug or 2 ready to go when they finish wiping us out.

If a female transitions to male, she does not have to register. If a male, transitions to female, he still in required by law, to register. I looked it up....and laughed.

I think they should require the females that want to be males...they want to be men, they should have to do men shit. Sign up bitches!

My sons are of this age bracket.....and squared the fuck away. I'm really surprised that there's alot of comments seemingly supporting this. Don't get to vote until you serve the masters?!?! Fuck that!! Anyone supporting .mil service these day needs their head examined.

Every time someone says "Thanks for your service" I return, with yes I was that stupid back then. If they ask why that response, I lay it all out for them. You can see the change in them if they hear it all,.... The smart ones went to Canada, during the last draft and so will a much greater number if this rock holds together much longer.

Its interesting to watch/study people at times. The guys with a US prefix had all the right in the world to bitch about getting fucked up, and issues with the VA, yet the biggest bunch of whiners were the RA's & NG's When talking to guys from those days, RA's use that cluster fuck as a crutch way more, than those who held a US prefix.
I assure you my grand children will not fight for the likes of the fucks in charge now, as long as I am alive.

That scene is more accurate than most know. The only officers I put immediate stock in were battlefield promoted NCO's, the rest I watched like a hawk, until they proved out.

When people don’t have real problems we fabricate them. Right now the “poor” are more obese than the wealthy, have Starbucks rewards cards, free or dirt cheap healthcare, subsidized housing and SNAP cards they can use to buy stuff too pricey for my tastes.

And yet people are unhappy and at each other’s throats more than ever, bitching about everything from income inequality to Palestine and everything in between.

I’m starting to think war is a necessary evil. Nothing brings people together like a common enemy and nobody gives a shit about global warming, gender benders or the patriarchy when shit hits the fan. As horrible as it sounds, this is likely the fastest way to correct our course. I’m not pro war per se, but I see a silver lining here.

Include women, gender benders and soy boys (including those suffering from “trauma”) in the draft, let them experience true hardship and loss and watch them kiss the ground if and when they make it home.

The best way to solve problems is to prevent their occurrence. Not to sit back uninvolved, and then say "let's just have a giant fight about it."

We have been a long time without a major war, plague, pestilance, geological or astronomic event of biblical proportions... We've been living in an historical Goldilocks Zone. And as a result most men have turned into Goldilocks and most women have forgotten how to make sammiches and gather berries and shit.

Well, it's coming. Maybe not this year. Maybe not this decade. Maybe not this century. Maybe in my lifetime or yours? Maybe not.

But it's coming.

Resets are not the province of rich Swiss Douche Pickles. They are the result of wild cards that we don't see coming. Maybe something will be man-induced (Ah, the 12 Monkeys scenario). Or maybe it will be another big astroid. Or a little one that makes everyone fire their nukes at each other... before realizing that we're just in a cosmic shooting gallery.

Anyhoo... a weeding-out will happen. And the first to go will be the Urban transvestites whose mental illness will prevent them surviving beyond a week. So we have that to look forward to!
