    Well we haven't played this game in a while. I thought about posting this in Fieldcraft but Maggie's is probably better.

    Here's a list of what I have in my bag.
    1) Super awesome custom built Remington 760 bullpup.
    2) Full roll of green paracord
    3) 13 condoms
    4) 2 pair of socks and 2 pair of underwear
    5) Broadsword
    6) Fire started kit
    7) 2 boxes of .30-06 ammo
    8) 3 pocket knives
    9) Bag of marshmallows and box of Graham crackers
    10) Tweezers
    11) Ronco Pocket Fisherman
    12) Space blanket
    13) Portable GPS
    14) Magnifying glass (for burning ants when I get bored)
    15) 2 favorite issues of Playboy magazine (pre homo/tranny days)
    16) Slingshot
    17) Rambo style raincoat made out of a canvas tarp
    18) Black book with the GPS coordinates of @Dirty D's dubba wide luv shack, @Threadcutter308's house, @clcustom1911's hair gel stash, the truck stop where @akmike works and @1J04's secret hunting cabin.
    19) Half bottle of Maker's Mark
    20) Bag of XXL sunflower seeds

    Fun discussion- off the top of my head- you need to add a way to power batteries (and batteries that will cooperate with said power source), and a water filter. You can probably cut the condoms in half (at least) unless your AO has you acting like an amphibian on the regular, lol.

    Which half of the condom do you keep? - and which way do you cut them - lengthwise or across the width somewhere?

    My old man was on the kick of buying gold and silver. His thinking was in a SHTF situation the dolar would be worthless and he could trade precious medals. I told him if you can't shoot it, eat it, get drunk on it, or fuck it, it's worthless.

    I read a book by a guy from Bosnia during the Civil War there , your right on point those were the things that had value , he was close to a distillery and was able to aquire lots of vodka I think ,and was able to trade for all kinds of stuff that he and his family needed , was a good read ,the police were the 1st to go rogue ,in a SHTF senerio, don't trust the police or the government.

    Don't forget the habanero based hot sauce for water boarding.

    Mine are only get home bags.

    Get home Bag # I when its 10 miles or less est 5-6 hrs max
    Get home bag # 2 when its 20 miles or less est 1 -1.5 days
    Get home bag # 3 when 30 miles +, est time, when ever/what ever.
    Bag 3 has enough tools to contend with any issue that pops up short of an A-10/devgru issue,

    You guys have given me some great ideas of stuff to add to my bug out bag.

    1) Cheetos (how could I have left this off my list)
    2) Fleshlight (duh)
    3) Speedo (I wear mine all of the time anyway)
    4) Beef Jerky

    @Fig Accordion, probably not. This is about surviving the apocalypse, I don't want to bust out in some world class polka music and have the wimmens get so frothed up I get fucked to death.

    @clcustom1911 I have moved on from habanero based water boarding. Just a drop or two of lacquer thinner on the eyelids brings people right around, saves a lot of time and just a tiny bottle lasts a long time.

    I think the MS250 is a good compromise between weight and output. You may want to take a fw extra chains while you are at it

    where to? not going anywhere. won't be possible. chance of surviving a bug out is slim,none or china man's. take a look at traffic leaving so. fl. for north someplace. and that is when people still believe they can find sustinance,support and security someplace else. after a digital killing emp,nuc war,violent social breakdown/civil war,true total financial armageddon? LOL.

    Humans acclimated and softened up by generations of artificial climate controlled living, living with no refrigeration and A/C in the Texas heat would take it's toll.

    You'd have to go stoneage, find a body of fairly clean water you could purify, make a shelter to stay out of the sun and count the days till fall when you can move again, if you still can.
