Got an email from Silencer Central today, stating my suppressor purchase had been approved.......considering last year was a "leap" year, it took 368 days...........1 year, three days.........purchased 6-18-2023............gun show in KC...............shit show..........

And if you would of waited till this year it would of been less than a month. Mine was 18 days.
I just had one approved in two days of the paperwork being submitted. I really think they should catch up on all the others but I'm not going to argue with two day (or less) approvals. I feel for you guys who filed a year ago. My trust approval times have definitely been dropping but it's still 5-6 months usually. I've got one more in time out, single person trust, so we'll see how long it takes.
Don't know much about the paperwork but interesting to know it's not a queue of first come first serve...

That's median time from certified to approval for individual, not dealer approval to ship to dealer(form 3), not actual ship times etc. & if applicable...
He essentially means that the approval times for form 4s has gone down drastically for most applicants. Some even as long as a week and I've even personally seen a same day approval on someone doing an individual form4.
OK, that one was approved, June 20/24............got then can, but no stamp yet..........which leads me to my next question......
I have 12 NFA items from a trust, an estate. I sent the form 5's for these items, and received the paperwork saying they were approved today...........took about 30 days..........my question is how long before I actually get the stamps...........

I currently have 3 that I use plenty. I think the longest of those 3 was 9 months and the shortest was 2 months. I have 2 others that have been in the application phase since June of last year. They took the money July 6, 2023. I have never waited this long. It seems common sense that if you have 1 NFA item, the time to obtain another should be minutes.
Things have really changed since they started that e-file thing. My first cans were both around 11 months. I picked one up today that I bought last week. Total wait time = 7 days. Way much betterer. Getting rid of the NFA would be gooder of course...

That sucks.
Still better than 300+, but not good yet.
Yeah, I had several back in the paper forms days go over a year. I just hope the SHUSH Act gets some traction.
