My drugdealer roomate in college had a '68 F-100 Ford van with a 240 6cyl. and an 8 track. The hippy chicks thought it was groovy. Friends would ask to use it when they needed a place to bang a hot chick.
I swear it wanted to dump over on it's side if you were driving and cut the wheel too sharp.
Back on topc: The original bugout people that came to America over the Bering Strait 17K years ago rarely lived past their teens. A 25 yr. old was considered an elder. And they knew how to live off the land.
