Idaho water curtailment

As the infestation of California cancer gets worse this will become the norm. As communists took over the utility I used to work for, they created a completely false water crisis, rationed water and jacked rates up triple.

Here was the problem. We sat on a massive two state aquifer with 10 TRILLION GALLONS of storage that recharged at an estimated 300 million gallons a day. No water shortage was even remotely possible.

Communists released lies to media commies who breathlessly published them. I did my part and linked dozens of studies over the last 100 years to debunk lies. They then went with, "Well there is a crisis in southern California." Leftist hate requires universal punishment of all peasants.

As long as California scum keeps infecting other states, this bullshit will continue.

I have kids in college and nearly in college. They have rarely if ever seen any winter snow. Our area traditionally gets two or three good snows every winter. Not anymore. My kids have grown up in a drought. Fishing ponds all went dry. Most creeks as well. I have been telling people.......man nade famine is coming. They think I am crazy. Look at how fragile and corrupt our packing industry is. Right now catle numbers are short, but I can't retain mama cows if I can't feed or water them. Every urban redneck says "I'll go hunting!" There is not enough wikdlife to feed us.

Something I have noticed with surface dry up here is that it has followed the switch from flood irrigation to sprinklers. Which 100% makes sense. Put way less water on the ground. And seep ditches tell water ponds and stuff dry up.

No production crops grow well here without irrigation. Dry land may pull a decent crop of wheat or milo a couple times per decade.

We went to Moab last summer. The Colorado was full. Abundantly full. Get home and everyday my google news feed was all about Colorado River was drying up and droughting. It is all a lie. All of it.

I am saying why the fuck are you cheering for the stealing of any farmers water? Cause facebooks told you those dirty rich saudis were bad fer da enviroment. Why do you think we care if the Saudi prince had a 22 million dollar home? Like we should be fuckin surprised or something? Wanna know a secret, the queen of England has some expensive jewelry. So here is a couple of thoughts non political that both sides do not get

1 ifaho has plenty of water just to many people. With the influx of people into the desert water usage is going up every year. Los Angles had this problem in the early 1900s so they started tapping the Colorado River. As the problem grew they took water from farther and farther away. Govt likes the growth I. Tax revenue of more homes and people so they will not say anything.

American farmers wast a lot of water with their irrigation. Look at isreal and drip irrigation that was developed ironically in Afganistan when it was a modern nation. Use irrigation water more efficiently.

Quit letting the.liberal cities steal the rural areas water. LA diverts water all the way from nor cal then bitch about the loggers destroying the rivers. All the rich folks want pretty green lawns. A few years ago LA wanted to pipe water down from the Columbia River that borders Iregon and Washington.

Plan ahead a little better and plan ahead. I don't think governments ever heard of contingency plans. We know droughts will happen it is a natural part of weather cycles. Plan for them.

You aren't getting much more efficient growing production annual crops than using the sprinklers they already are. Unfortunate the flip side of that is the drying up of wetlands, seep water, and ponds.

California created its water shortage by destroying water storage. Many other places are drying out because their water storage is being wasted or otherwise mismanaged like California.

Most urban/suburban planning, boiled to its essence, is this: how do we get more new taxpayers to give us money to spend; and, how can we get more $$ from those we already have as taxpayers.

To plan for 25 years down the road is foolishness to them, they want more tax revenue right now! It's shortsighted, but it is standard around the country.

The worst effects are seen in rapidly "growing" places/states. Idaho and Montana are two of the states reeling under new transplants and their incoming tax dollars seen gleefully by "planners" in city/county govts.
