Wait, you guys think he buys that stuff? He runs his channel in partnerships and free shit from manufacturers. He makes his money on advertising from his website and money from manufacturers. Don’t hate the player. Hate the game.
He did a entire video on brass prep and its affect on velocity and pressure with control group and various variables we all have heard of or used. Some of his stuff is pretty dry though. He is just another resource, but I haven't seen any other channel with good production and cool gear covering a myriad of things that he does.
hes not that bad. But he can definitely do long videos and explain almost nothing, although hes walking the fine line with YouTube's rules and algorithm as not to show manufacturing of guns and ammo.
I agree with what someone, maybe you, said earlier that his videos are basically infomercials. Hes never said anything even remtely negative no matter how small. That leads me to believe hes paid to only put out positive stuff. Which is of course not helpful when researching a product.
Gavin can be long winded but I do watch and enjoy his videos. Nuttinfancy-pants is beyond anything I can even remotely tolerate…….

No stupid loom at the numbers. They are the least use product line in any precision rifle competition, be it PRS, F class what ever. THE LEAST USED. there's a reason for that buck. They bullet suck, not uniform to say the least. When I'm breaking in a barrel and just blowing off rounds I use hornady because there cheap. For accuracy I prefer bergers if I can find em, if not I run scenars. There a low cost option which there is a market for that, but in the realm of precision rifle they are garbage.
This is pretty accurate. I like seeing all the products but yeah he kinda shills. Maybe that will change now that he is manufacturing his own rifles, albet he really is just assembling them and doing the chambering. He doesn’t make actions.
Dear Mr. reasonable and concise, have you ever had a barrel that didn't particularly like Berger bullets?
Hornady bullets make itty bitty groups on paper and comparatively larger as the distance grows. I target shoot under a thousand yards and hunt much closer than that so maybe they hit that wall and go erratic. I couldn’t tell you.
I have good results with Hornady out to 1K yards albeit I am no BR shooter and I mostly shoot 1/2 MOA or bigger steel targets.
This. Exactly this. The only one who can hang with Gavin's shilling capabilities is S00TCH himself.
His "Progressive Press Shootout" was anything but a "shootout" - it literally (and not figuratively) came to zero conclusions. It was merely a summary of each press' features.
