France is burnng down....

She might just find out how rigged the system is . french two round system is custom made to enable left to regroup and regain ground lost .

The chances of an outright victory for the far right in the dramatic French election fell on Tuesday, as centrist and left-wing candidates reluctantly banded together to try to stop Marine Le Pen’s National Rally from taking power for the first time.

At least 200 candidates from both the left-wing alliance and President Emmanuel Macron’s centrist coalition pulled out of the contest ahead of a crucial deadline, in order to unite behind those remaining contenders with the best chance of beating Le Pen’s nationalists, according to estimates from AFP and Le Monde.

Their decisions could determine the outcome of the second round vote on Sunday — and whether France will have a far-right government for the first time in the modern republic’s history.

In some ways that's a good thing, make the French people decide between the rotten filth they live under now, or the best option to restore their country.
Then they can't say they didn't have a choice in the matter.

It's an excellent opportunity for the Frenchmen to neutralize the invaders.
maybe this was posted already...but the lyrics to the french national anthem

Arise, children of the Fatherland,
The day of glory has arrived!
Against us stands tyranny
Her bloody standard has been raised, (repeated)
Do you hear, in the countryside,
The roar of those ferocious soldiers?
They come right into your arms
To tear the throats of your sons, your wives!

Refrain:
𝄆 To arms, citizens,
Form your battalions,
Let's March, let's march!
So that an impure
blood waters our furrows! 𝄇

What does this horde of slaves
Of traitors and invented kings want?
For whom have these vile chains
These irons, been long prepared? (repeated)
Frenchmen, for us, ah! What outrage
What furious action it must arouse!
It is for us they dare plan
A return to the old slavery!

Refrain

What! Foreign cohorts!
Would make the law in our homes!
What! These mercenary phalanxes
Would strike down our proud warriors! (repeated)
Great God! By chained hands
Our brows would yield under the yoke
Vile despots would themselves become
The masters of our destinies!

Refrain

Tremble, tyrants and you traitors
The shame of all parties,
Tremble! Your parricidal schemes
Will finally receive their prize! (repeated)
Everyone is a soldier to combat you,
If they fall, our young heroes,
Will be produced anew from the ground,
Ready to fight against you!

Refrain

Frenchmen, as magnanimous warriors,
Bear or hold back your blows!
Spare those sorry victims,
For regretfully arming against us (repeated)
But these bloodthirsty despots
These accomplices of Bouillé
All these tigers who, mercilessly,
Tear apart their mother's breast!

Refrain

Sacred love of the Fatherland,
Lead, support our avenging arms
Liberty, cherished Liberty
Fight with your defenders! (repeated)
Under our flags may victory
Hurry to your manly accents
So that your expiring enemies
See your triumph and our glory!

Refrain

Children's verse:

We shall enter the (military) career
When our elders are no longer there
There we shall find their dust
And the trace of their virtues (repeated)
Much less keen to survive them
Than to share their coffins
We shall have the sublime pride
To avenge or follow them.

Refrain

She may not (in fact probably won’t) win outright. That’s been in the polls for weeks. But she is going to win enough seats to have a lot of power.

Plus Macron is being gutted. His party is an also-ran. So LePen may be a minority at 45 percent or so. But it is a solid bloc. But the 55 percent is made up is a rainbow of centrist to far left whack jobs who will never get along.

LePen can possibly form a government by getting one or two of the majority factions to join her in a coalition. Where the smaller party gets some ministerial seats… but LePen has power.

The “rigged” part is that Macron will stay on and the best guess is that IF LePen forms a government, Macron will punish the French People by calling another snap election…. Then another… until the left wins a majority.

Not sure when Macron is “done” as President but his term seems to be 4 or 5 years. And he was last sworn in May 2022 according to wiki. So he can keep calling snap elections for 2-3 more years until he gets a parliament he wants… and a prime minister he wants.

But the good news is that the grass roots all over the place is going anti-left. And the harder the left pushed back against national identity and freedom, the more folks go against the commies and the globalists. Seems no one wants to eat zee bugs!

Looks like coalition of left parties are taking the lead. No party to have majority.

You know some of you complain about 2 party system in US; despite its shortcomings i still prefer it over weird multi party elections around the world. LePen seemed very strong after first round. Cultural enrichment and left turned the place upside down and now looks like French surrendered again…

Leftist revolution is in full swing this summer

It's a great system to make sure folks get into power that most folks didn't actually vote for.

It's the final ultimate result of "just vote for the party" essentially you vote for a party and they do anything they want including make deals for power with everybody you hate.

It was great in helping Hitler get into power even though most in Germany didn't vote for him, but then well let's just obey the "elected" government...

Indeed two round system in France is designed to keep right out ,
Basicaly every time plebs vote wrong parties , the elites curse correct to get right outcome in Second round

Le Pen and her father have won number of first rounds only to be trounced in the second round as voters are ralied to vote against vs vote for XY candidates.

But that is amateur hour in comparison to British style bananastan elections ,

System explicitly designed for Uniparty ,In UK system is like US electoral system only other outliers that use same are other ex colonies like Ethipia ,Bangladesh , Canada and India. System that prevent third parties rise

''First-past-the-post means the person with the largest number of votes in each constituency gets elected and candidates from other parties get nothing for their votes in that area.''
Theoretically, one party could win 51 percent of the vote in every seat, while another could win 49 percent in every seat. The first party would receive 100 percent of the seats, second would have none.

French built in a course correct , way before the Dominion programmed theirs ,Germans that lack that feature are trying to outright ban the AFD party

Just a reminder ,Macron was a Rothschild banker before becoming French President.

Holy Crap!

It's true.

I thought that had to be a joke! To tear the throats of your sons, your wives! ???

And I thought the US National Anthem was warlike.

The French one takes the cake. I will never view Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture the same way again.

This one says to cut the throats of your sons, your comrades! But still . . .

The children at the end singing about their desire to share their elder's coffins . . . wow.

I wouldn't be as concerned with it except that I may have to travel via Charles de Gaulle Airport some time in the future. Not staying in France, Taking the train to Luxembourg. I'll have to see if there's an alternative route. Maybe via Frankfurt or something.

To be honest, I thought "La Marseillaise" had more to do with the "French Revolution" against the aristocracy, than the war against Austria, but...

I do hope Thomas Jefferson's beliefs never come true for us here in the USA, but I fear a credible threat that they will.

I think most don't even realize it's the revolution the left declared in 2016 and they are thourly trouncing everyone in every country.

UK's New Leftist PM Kills Illegal Immigrant Deportation Scheme On Day One

The new leftist British Prime Minister Sir Kier Starmer has on day one of his premiership scrapped a scheme to deport illegal immigrants

The Rwanda scheme was first touted by Boris Johnson’s government, then continued to be bandied around under subsequent Prime Ministers Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak. However, it was proven to be toothless empty rhetoric, with not one single illegal immigrant being deported under the program.

Despite that, British taxpayers were charged to the tune of £270 million… for zero immigrants deported .

Seems to be feature of all recent elections with suprise far left wins.......

The far left won because of the economy. The right is in power. The electorate votes them out.

In the US, the right is leading in polls because of the economy. It is likely that the electorate will vote the left out.

Whoever is in office gets the blame. It is as simple as that.

The process is not logical like that. There is a huge $$$$ and political machine running behind the curtain that throws logic and reason out the window.

Always great democracy in action when you win most votes by a huge margin and only end up 3rd place

RN is LePen's party with 10+mio votes , and first place are the Comies with 7million votes. and some Republicans win under 2.5mio yet get half the number of seats of RN .......

They do not have a two party system there.

The "commies" as you say are multiple parties that formed a coalition. There were no more MPs than the votes justified, but several left wing parties banded together basically to vote together and become the largest party. Nobody got a majority.

We do not have any comparable thing in the US, because we have only two parties. If the Republicans and the Democrats formed a coalition, they would control 100% of the seats. LOL!

In addition, 200 candidates (leftists) who were not polling as well dropped out to give higher placed leftists a better chance at winning against the candidates on the right. This resulted in RN losing a bunch of runoffs that it needed to take a majority of seats.

It's strange to me that if the president doesn't like the outcome of the elections (June 9th) that he can just decide to have new elections.

Comies -> Les Écologistes , French Communist Party, Socialist Party , Place publique , Génération·s , Republican and Socialist Left , New Anti-Capitalist Party , Ecosocialist Left ,

US system is far less representative than French its like UK

UK has same first past the post system as former colonies including US , and its absolutely devastating for anyone but the uniparty , impossible for 3rd ,fourth etc parties to get anything but marginal representation.

Farage's Reform won 4.1+ mio votes , barely gets 5 seats , DUP wins 170k votes gets 5 seats. Lib Dems get 3.5 mio votes get 71 seats

Also, those voting numbers are off. There are two rounds of voting, and RN did not have 10 million votes in either the first round, about 8 million, or the second round, where they got 700k more votes.

I'd double check those numbers if you can.

And remember when you are checking there are two rounds of voting in France.
